5 SEC TI ON 1 Configuring Interactive Video Quizzes in MediaSpace or in Your KAF Instance This guide describes how to enable Kaltura s Interactive Video Quizzes (IVQ) feature for use with MediaSpace in Kaltura systems. Interactive Video Quizzes (IVQ) integrates and works seamlessly with Kaltura MediaSpace (KMS) and all Kaltura Application Framework (KAF) based applications, such as different Learning Management Systems (LMSs) and Small Business Servers (SBSs). The IVQ feature is based on the Kaltura Player version 2.0. Activating the Kaltura Interactive Video Quizzes Feature in MediaSpace or in your KAF Instance The Kaltura Interactive Video Quizzes (IVQ) feature is managed by Kaltura MediaSpace system administrators in the Admin area accessed from <Base_URL>/admin. Kaltura IVQ can also be enabled through the KAF admin console in the same manner. If you do not see the IVQ feature, contact your account manager. To activate IVQ in the MediaSpace admin console 1. Log into Kaltura MediaSpace or the KAF Admin Console and go to the Configuration Management window. 2. Enable Quiz module located under ModulesCustom/Core/entryTypes. 3. You can leave all other parameter values as they are or enter values for the relevant fields and click Save. enabled Field Description Enable the Quiz module. quizplayerid What is the player ID (uiconf ID) of the player that plays quizzes? playerbarheightpixels The height (in pixels) of the player ui which is not part of the actual video (for example - the bottom bar). Leave blank to use the default player value. playervideoratiopercent The ratio (in percent) of the video inside the player. Standard values: 16:9 = 56.25, 4:3 = 75, 16:10 = Leave blank to use the default player value. BSEPlayerId What is the player ID (uiconf ID) of the player that used to play quizzes in BSE? Uiconf should ahve the infoscreen plugin enabled Verify that you have activated the Kaltura IVQ Feature in MediaSpace or in your KAF Instance To verify that you can create an interactive video quiz 1.
