2 ABOUT Josh Price is one of the most promising young talents in UK Motorsport. From the tender age of 10 when he first got behind the wheel of a go kart, Josh has been racing and winning. In 2012 at only 13 Josh began his first Campaign in the MSA Junior British championships where he went on to finish 4th in his debut season. Once again he demonstrated his ability to win and earned his place within the world of motor racing by winning the last round of the British Championships, setting himself up for a strong following campaign. In 2013 Josh competed in the European Karting championships in the Junior Rotax series by taking 2 out of the4 possible pole positions and 22 from the maximum of 30 heat race wins, proving his championship winning credentials. Josh won 4 out of the 7 rounds of the British Championships along with winning the British Grand Prix event. In 2014 Josh signed with the well known ART Grand Prix team who specialize in not only karting but also GP2, GP3 and GT cars. Josh was signed as a development driver for the 2014 season. Towards the end of the 2014 season, Josh was crowned the Rotax International Open Champion in Spain and finished 6th overall in the Super One British Championship Series for Rotax Max, the most competitive UK Championship. 3 UK RENAULT CLIO CUP CHAMPIONSHIP The Clio Cup series is known as the feeder class into the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), the highest level of saloon car British Motorsport. The series has produced drivers who have gone on to achieve major accolades in their racing careers: Past series winners include the likes of Jason Plato, Aron Smith, Sam Tordoff, Josh Cook, Jack Goff, Tom Onslow -Cole and Andy Priaulax who all went on to be race and win in the BTCC. FORMAT: Two Race Format Live TV Coverage Highlights repeated (ITV1) Worldwide TV Coverage Hospitality at weekends The Renault Clio Cup series is run as a support race to the BTCC. Therefore the series is televised alongside the ITV4 Coverage of the BTCC. Two races are televised, generating over an hours worth of live television per race meeting. Renault Clio Cup is regarded by most as the most exciting and competitive form of saloon car racing in the country. Boasting cars of equal parity allows for the driver s talent to become the decisive factor in the end result of each race.
