2 Introduction Goset is a very versitile company, specialized in machinebuilding, with in-house capacity for CNC machining, lasercutting, grinding and sandblasting. Goset is originated in Poland, and the grinding machine section is run by Mr. Krzysztof Gos. The company has ISO 9001: 2001 certificates since Years long experience in building and using these machines in their own machine building plant, makes these machines truly finished products that are user friendly - and economically priced. Smederij Atelier Alkmaar is a company originated in The Netherlands, founded by Mr. Dave van Wijngaarden and Ms. Renske Schuyt. What in the year 2000 started out as a forging company (mostly knives and swords) grew out to be the largest teaching facility for swords and knives and the most complete web shop for knife making materials in the Benelux. The forging is still going strong, now specialized in high quality Damascus steels, amongst which Stainless Damascus, sold under the international trade name Tradition. Coming across the machines of Goset, Smederij Atelier Alkmaar s team immediately recognized the quality and good pricing of this product range. After intensively testing them in their own workshop, the decision to offer them to their customers was easy. We know these machines are what you need to raise quality in knife making to the next level. Availability The machines come in two basic models, the G10 and the G20 grinder, ready to plug and play! The G20 is the bigger machine. Both work standard on 380V power, but with the sturdy Siemens inverter we can change this to 230V in a switch. For the G20 model different accessories can be purchased separately. In this leaflet we ll take you on a small tour to show you the versatile possibilities. Testing the machines? We will be happy to hear from you! Belt grinder Goset G10 - Basic model This machine is equipped with a strong Siemens 0,75kW motor. All frame parts on the machine are made of steel, making it a reliable and sturdy piece of equipment in your workshop. All parts are certificated. Simply built to last. The G10 model has a quick belt changing system, which ensures easily changing from one grit to another, or renewing your belts. The Basic G10 model comes with: Siemens motor 0,75kW 2845 RPM. Universal work table (possible to position in different angles). Aluminum tensioning wheel and aluminum drive wheel Ø160mm. Switch on-off Electrical power cord 1 grinding belt 1220x50 grit 40

4 Belt Grinder Goset G20 - pro model This is the biggest machine in our line of professional grinding machines. Model G20 is equipped with a very strong Siemens 1,1 kw motor. All frame parts on the machine are made of solid steel, not aluminium, which makes it a reliable and sturdy piece of equipment in your workshop. All parts are certificated. This machine will soon be your most used in the workshop, and the built to last technology ensures a long lasting shop life. Changing a belt is very easy, and done in seconds. The grinder can be tilted to horizontal position, to achieve more grinding possibilities and different grinding angles. A wide range of accessories is available for this machine, ensuring almost every radius and angle can be ground. Of course all these parts come with an easy and quick to install system. The G20 will adapt to your demands any time always quick and clean.

5 Belt grinder Goset G20 - Pro model The basic G20 pro model comes with: Bracket for small wheels, including one Ø 40 mm wheel Motor Siemens 1,1 kw 2800 RPM 400 V. Aluminum tensioning wheel and aluminum drive wheel Ø160 mm. The bracket and one small wheel are included in the basic G20 pro model. The table is seperately offered.

7 Accessories 1. Universal machine base for G20 Pro and G10 model. - This machine base will create a safe and solid support to mount your machine on to. - It s easy to bolt the G10 or G20 model to the strong steel base with the use of M10 bolts. - The machine base has prefixed holes which can be used to bolt the machine to the workshop floor. - Setscrews allow you to easily level out the machine. - Inside the base, a special bracket is fixed for mounting the Siemens Sinamics V20 inverter, to keep it dust free. Using the machine base means you do not need to buy the case for the inverter to keep it dust-free, saving you money. - The on/off switch can be fixed on the base on pre-made mounting holes. - To keep your small wheels neatly arranged, a special mounting is attached to the side of the base. 2. Bracket for small wheels - Full steel bracket for quick mounting of small wheels. - Suitable for every model small wheel in our assortment. - Changing a wheel can be done easily, it s only a matter of seconds. - Please note: the actual color of the bracket may be different. 3. Small wheels Easily grind and polish those small curves in your knives! These wheels can also be used for the hollow grinding of razorblades. Diameters available of our assortment of small wheels: - Ø 10mm - Ø 16mm - Ø 23,9mm - Ø 25mm - Ø 39,4mm - Suitable for all belts in 50 mm wide. - The bearings on the side are type 608 2RS C3 NSK, these are high quality bearings.

8 4 - Large wheels For the hollow grinding of knives. - These wheels are made from aluminum covered with a special rubber. - The hardness of the rubber is 90 in the Shore scale A. Available diameters: - Ø 160 mm. For regular size knives (i.e. pocket knives, camp knives) - Ø 270 mm. For grinding broader blades (i.e. survival knives, hunters) - Ø 370 mm. For grinding broad blades (i.e. kitchen knives, zombie slayers) - Wheel width: 50 mm. suitable for regular size belt. - In the centre of the aluminum wheel 2 bearings (type RS C3 FAG) are mounted, which guarantee smooth movement. 5 - Siemens Sinamics V20 1,1 KW Inverter Perfect for changing your 380V machine into a 230V machine. - This model SINAMICS V20 is designed for controlling the speed of three phase asynchronous motors. - Rated output power: 1,1kW - For single phase AC 230V Please note: the inverter should be placed in a suitable box, to protect it from dust. It s possible to purchase this box separately, or you could use the machine base as listed in the accessories above. 6 - External speed control potentiometer This variable speed control is used in combination with the Siemens inverter. With this device you can easily adjust the rotational speed of your machine to your specific demands. - Electrical wire for connecting the control to the inverter is pre-mounted and included in the list price of this item.
