2 Tour Itinerary & Suggested Drives Please note: All routings and excursions are purely our suggestions, it is entirely your choice as to whether or not you follow our suggested routings or do our suggested excursions, albeit on the day we have indicated, or at all! North Cyprus with its Crusader Castles perched on dramatic rocky peaks offers the Classic Car Driver a memorable journey through spectacular scenery through the pine forest and craggy mountain passes with opportunity to visit these historic castles. Cyprus had been a British Colony and therefore as well as driving on the left, many road signs will be familiar to the visitor. In North Cyprus the roads are well surfaced and maintained and most of the time almost empty of traffic. Whenever appropriate we will stop at historic sites and those wishing to visit the site can do so by paying the entry fee locally. Day 1. Arrive at the airport and transfer to nar Village. Dinner or if late arrival soup and light buffet. Day 2. After breakfast an Informative Briefing to the tour and handing over Classic Cars to clients. After some time to practice around nar before driving to Buffavento Castle which is the highest of the three Crusader Castles we will be visiting. This Crusader Castle back at Byzantine times was used as a retreat place and later by Crusading Lusignans used as an imprisonment castle. After the tour of the castle drive through the pine forests to Alevkayasi, where the old British Forestry Department was located. We will visit the Herbarium and then have a lunch (not included). We will then drive through the Five Fingers Mountain back to nar via the coastal road. Evening welcome cocktails where we will be joined by the Representatives of Classic & Sports Car Club and Mercedes Benz Club of North Cyprus. pen Buffet dinner will follow. The nar Village Hotel... nar Village is situated on the outskirts of the Kyrenia mountain range, about five minutes drive from the city centre. Its unique, 180-degree panoramic view overlooks the Northern Cyprus Mediterranean coastline and the ancient town of Kyrenia. A relaxing, refreshing ambience and traditional hospitality have made the Village a tranquil retreat for many guests, who return year after year to stay at nar Village. All of the hotels 44 guest-rooms feature a double or twin bed with en suite bathroom, air-conditioning, cable colour television, refrigerator/minibar, hairdryer and telephone. Each room has its own private balcony with either a sea or mountain view. Day 3. We start today by visiting the nearby St Hilarion Castle overlooking Kyrenia. We will then drive along the scenic coastal and mountain road to Lefke which boasts the best oranges on the island. We will have coffee in the centre of town and then we will do a short walk round the centre of town. We then drive to Guzelyurt where we will visit the Archaeological Museum and afterwards we proceed to Kormacit Village where we have a very traditional Cypriot Village lunch at Yorgo s Taverna. We then take the scenic coastal road via Kayalar back to nar. n this route we will carry out the Classic Car Regularity Rally. Details of this Regularity Rally will be handed out beforehand to all the participants. Results and the winners will be declared at the farewell dinner on the last night. Day 4. Drive along the picturesque coastal road and then up through the pine forested mountain road to Kantara Crusader Castle. Visit the castle and then drive down the mountain road to Bogaz fishing village stopping for a coffee break. Carry on to Salamis and visit the ruins. Lunch at a nearby seaside restaurant. Drive back via Iskele Village to nar. Day 5. Visit the Near East University Car Museum. After the museum visit drive to ld Nicosia Town. We will park the cars and then walk to the historical centre of the old Nicosia, visiting the St Sophia Cathedral (Selimiye Mosque) and indulge in shopping in the covered Bazaar. Today you can enjoy lunch at the 16th century ttoman Inn (Buyuk Han) - not included followed by an early afternoon drive back to nar with the remainder of the day at leisure. Itinerary continued... Day 6. Drive to the Karpaz Peninsular, named the Pan Handle by the British. We will drive all the way to the tip of the peninsular where the Apostolos Andreas (St Andrew) Monastery is located. n route we will stop to look at the most fabulous beaches on the Island, where the turtles breed and see the famous Wild Donkeys of Karpain their special reserve. We will stop at the Marina for coffee and lunch at a beach restaurant. Day 7. ptional drive to Z Karting for an optional Slalom Day (not included in price). or the day at Leisure followed by a Farewell Dinner with Local Club members and presentation of Trophies and Certificates. Day 8. Day at leisure followed by transfers back to the Airport for your Return Flight home.

About Regularity Rallying Regularity rallying, also known as TSD rallying (Time Speed Distance), is a form of motor sport usually conducted on public roads but sometimes including off-road and track sections. The object of these rallies is to maintain precise times and precise average speeds on various segments of a predefined route. Each team usually consists of an amateur driver and navigator. Teams usually start a regularity rally at fixed intervals creating a field that is spread along the route. Regularity rallying shares its origins with most types of rallying. Unlike the well-known special stage rallying (which is commonly just called rallying), regularity rallying does not depend on the abilities of the driver at high-speed nor does it depend on the speed that the vehicle can achieve. For this reason, ordinary motor vehicles can be used. Regularity rallies are commonly held for classic or even vintage cars and is therefore, is a far less expensive sport and can be enjoyed by a far greater spectrum of people. The closest motor sport to regularity rallying is road rallying. Unlike a road rally, a regularity rally focuses somewhat more on the maintenance of precise speeds and times rather than on navigation.
