ONLINE CLASSROOM TRAINING The Jeppesen Virtual Learning Program (VLP) is an online distance learning solution. VLP classes are not computer based training as all class sessions are the same instructor led training as experienced in our live classrooms, just attended over the internet. VLP students are held to the same live classroom standards by way of interacting with instructors using webcams, 3-D avatars, and Voice over IP. This online program provides customers with a more travel conducive and cost effective means to attending instructor led training. Applicants must also have an understanding of basic math and physics, and hold a high school graduation or higher education.

2 ONLINE CLASSROOM WORLDWIDE COURSE DELIVERY VIRTUAL LEARNING PROGRAM OVERVIEW The Jeppesen Virtual Learning Program (VLP) is an internet based application which enables Jeppesen training customers to log into a virtual classroom environment and use an avatar in conjunction with full screen presentations, voice over IP audio, text chat, and interact with the instructor and peers via avatar and webcam. The VLP environment is currently being used to provide customers with a flexible delivery option when travel logistics and expenses warrant a distance learning option. All of the Jeppesen courses are available over VLP, including; International Flight Operations for Pilots or Dispatchers Charts and Navigation Workshop Airspace Systems Workshop Aircraft Performance / ETOPS FAA/NAA Dispatcher Certification Dispatcher Recurrent All classes are instructor led and utilize the same student interactivity standards as employed in our live classroom environments. VIRTUAL LEARNING SUITABILITY To use the Jeppesen Virtual Learning Program (VLP) customers must first ensure sufficient internet bandwidth, proper computer equipment, and company firewall testing prior to registration. The steps below will guide you through testing your equipment. STEP ONE: EQUIPMENT REQUIRED 1. Computer with high speed internet connection. 2. Quality headset with audio capability (iphone type headsets often work). 3. Webcam for student identification (optional). STEP TWO: EQUIPMENT TEST 1. Access Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) by selecting the following link; 2. At this point you should have entered the Virtual Learning Demo Environment. Click the screen to access. 3. Press w to walk and ensure you can hear yourself walking using your handset with audio capability. 4. Test webcam: right click and select collaboration, then share webcam. 5. If you can access the Virtual Learning Demo space, hear yourself walking around, and see your avatar and webcam then you meet minimum equipment to register for the VLP. FOM-1 is not required for U.S. FAA Dispatcher Certification. FOM-2 is the standard 6-week live classroom course. FOM-2 VLP (Virtual Learning Program) is a hybrid of online and live classes. The first 160 classroom hours are attended in a virtual (online) classroom, followed attendance in any live twoweek Denver based class. FOM-2 VLP is not computer based training, rather the same instructor led training as our live classrooms. VLP students are held to live classroom standards through instructor interactivity using webcams, audio, and 3-D avatars. See the VLP Program Overview page for details. FOM-2A, is a 2-Week advanced course for VLP graduates and those with significant experience and ATP knowledge levels. FOM-2B is a 1-Week NAA transition course, is available to those who have graduated from a Jeppesen course located outside the United States and wish to convert their NAA license to the U.S. FAA license. FAA Oral and Practical examinations will be scheduled after live class graduation. Please verify departure dates during registration for FAA exam scheduling purposes. FAA Certificates: Upon successful completion of FAA exams students are issued a Dispatch license by the FAA. Details can be found in CFR 14 FAR 65 Subpart C. All FOM-2 Denver classes are FAA and ICAO compliant. FOM-2: $4,175 which includes; Registration, Course Tuition, and Student Kit. FAA Written and Oral exam fees not included. FOM-2A (2-Week advanced course): $1,975 which includes; Registration, Course Tuition, and Student Kit. FAA Written and Oral exam fees not included. The minimum training course length is 22 weeks, in a blended environment. The first nineteen (19) weeks of the program will be delivered by a blend of self-paced study and online instructor-led classes using the Jeppesen Virtual Learning Program (VLP). The last three (3) weeks of the course will be on location in Tbilisi, Georgia. The Jeppesen and Georgian Aviation University Flight Dispatcher training program is endorsed by the Georgian CAA for Phase 1 training.
