1 Shaved Ice Recipes from Sherry or SnoCrisp416 I'm the one who makes layered snoballs so my directions might sound odd. We make all in layers, snow, flavor, snow, flavor, etc. We put cream in the layers and on top. We probably do 95% slushes (or flattops) some of my recipes probably won't work for most of the Snoballers, the ones who make their snoball completely and then add the flavor through the top. We would not have any customers if we did that. My customers want them very juicy...so we started slushes. I don't do any of the liquor flavors except Pina Colada, Coladas and Pink Champagne. We had too many kids pretending to get drunk with Margarita & Daiquiri. I just couldn't take it. Some of these recipes I have collected from other sites, such as Ty's Summer Snow (Great site to visit) and a couple of Hawaiian Ice and Tropical Sno sites plus the usual SS, SW, Flavorsnow, etc. Some of these combinations such as Custards, Cream Pies, Cobblers, etc. (I use SnoWizard Egg Custard for these) are yellow flavors and some flavors such as Blueberry, etc will turn green so you might want to substitute Vanilla for the Custard in these flavors. If it gets on your hands, wash it off before another snoball is made.

18 For every quart of flavored syrup you should use 1 oz. of flavoring concentrate to each quart of simple syrup (plain sugar water) or 4 oz. per gallon. If the recipe calls for two flavors to be mixed then just half you re flavoring concentrates. Ex: Texas Twister is ½ oz. Orange and ½ oz. of Pineapple mixed together in one quart of simple syrup. If the recipe calls for 3 flavors then add 1/3 oz. and so on based on the number of flavors used. Remember this is not rocket science so you can add more or less based on your desired taste. Don t worry if you put too much of one or the other. This is now we come up with new flavors.
