2 DOUBLE GREEN SMOOTHIE 1 ½ cup unsweetened non-dairy beverage, such as almond, rice or soy 2 dried apricots or 4 pitted dates 1 banana 1 cup chopped kale leaves 1 cup baby spinach leaves 1/2 cup fresh or frozen berries Combine non-dairy beverage, apricots, banana, kale, spinach and berries in a blender and blend until smooth. Nutritional Info: PER SERVING:160 calories (30 from fat), 3.5g total fat, 0g saturated fat, 0mg cholesterol, 115mg sodium, 30g carbohydrate (4g dietary fiber, 10g sugar), 8g protein

Pour into glasses and serve. 4 RAW VEGAN PINA COLADA RECIPE 4 cups fresh or frozen ripe sweet pineapple 2 cups raw coconut water 2 cups ice (if using fresh pineapple) 1 cup chopped washed dandelion greens ½ cup dried shredded unsweetened coconut ¼ cup raw cashews ¼ cup dried chopped pitted dates or more to taste 1. Place all the ingredients in your blender (I use a Vitamix) and puree until smooth and creamy. 2. Tweak flavours to taste and enjoy. 3. Makes four 16-ounce glasses
5 KEY LIME PIE GREEN SMOOTHIE 2 tbsp key lime juice (about 4 limes) 1 tsp key lime zest (about 2 limes) 1 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk 1 ripe frozen banana ¼ tsp alcohol-free vanilla extract 2 drops liquid stevia or 1 tbsp ground xylitol or 1 pitted medjool date 1 tbsp sunflower butter 2 cups organic baby spinach 4 ice cubes 1 minute vanilla whipped topping (optional) gluten-free graham cracker pieces (optional) Place in your blender in the order of the ingredients listed, then blend for 30 seconds or until smooth.
6 THE SIMPLE GREEN FRUIT SMOOTHIE 1 large orange, peeled and segmented ½ of a large banana, cut into chunks 6 large strawberries 2 cups spinach 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt (I use Chobani 0%) 1 cup ice Put all of the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve. I use our Blendtec Blender which is a very powerful machine. Make sure you use a powerful blender that will puree the orange, spinach, ice, etc. I like to store one serving of the smoothie in the freezer for later. Pour in an air-tight container and freeze. Make sure you take the smoothie out of the freezer about 30 minutes before you want to drink it. You can also store the smoothie in the refrigerator
7 HOLLY S GREEN SMOOTHIE *1/2 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled *1/4 lemon, skin and all *1-2 cored apples *5 stalks kale (stems removed) *flesh from 1 avocado *pinch of celtic sea salt *dash of water Using a high speed blender, process until super smooth. Eat with a spoon.
8 BLACK BERRIE AND BASIL SMOOTHIE 1 cup blackberries 1 medium or large frozen banana 1 scant cup almond milk ½ tsp vanilla extract 1 small handful basil leaves, washed Blend all ingredients together till smooth and creamy. Serve with a sprig of basil!
9 MORNING MINT GREEN SMOOTHIE 1.5 cups water 1 cup ice 10 organic mint leaves 1 hefty handful organic spinach 2 fairly hefty dollops organic raw cashew butter 1 T or more raw coconut nectar (or raw agave or 2 pitted dates) Blend and enjoy!
10 BASIC GREEN SMOOTHIE 2 cups cold water 1 banana, cut into chunks 1 orange, peeled and separated into segments ½ apple (your favorite variety), peeled, cored, and cut into chunks ½ lemon, peeled and separated into segments ½-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and minced 2 cups baby spinach 1. Add all ingredients to a blender and puree until smooth and completely combined. 2. Drink all at once, or separate into two servings. The smoothie can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one day. When it comes out of the fridge, it will have thickened, so give it a brisk stir (or use a small whisk) and enjoy!
11 GREEN LIMEADE SMOOTHIE 1 ½ english cucumber, sliced 2 1/2 avocado 3 2 handfuls baby spinach limes, peeled (adjust to desired amount) 5 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 6 liquid stevia to taste [or honey, agave, or sweetener of choice] ice cubes In blender, add cucumber, avocado, spinach, lime [all three, but peeled], cinnamon, stevia, ice and blend on high until smooth.
