1 Service schedule residential broadband plans on the TransACT network Plan information The following table outlines the key variable features of Grapevine residential broadband plans on the TransACT network. You must be connected to the TransACT network to receive services from Grapevine. These features are to be read in conjunction with the service type, time periods, service description, service price, payment dates, general conditions, and special conditions, together with the terms and conditions of supplying the service, of which this service schedule is part. 4 Additional mailboxes Available for a small additional fee. (1) Overrun charged for excess data during peak times. (2) Acceptable Use Policy applies during off peak times. All charges are GST inclusive unless otherwise stated. All plans are subject to Grapevine terms and conditions and Acceptable Use Policy. A $20 connection fee applies to all new Grapevine accounts except when included in a Bundle Contract. A $20 plan change fee applies when upgrading/downgrading to a new Grapevine plan. TransACT connection fees not included. For all Grapevine plans, overrun charges apply when you reach the maximum download limit for your selected plan, up to the overrun limit stated in the relevant Service Schedule. For shaped plans, after the overrun limit is reached, downloads are free but connection speed is slowed to 72kbps for the remainder of the Download Measurement Period. Grapevine provides usage alerts via to enable you to monitor your download usage. ^Please confirm with your telephone service provider that you will be charged at a local call rate for using 0198 services to access your account from interstate. Service information Service type Permanent connection to the TransACT Broadband Network. Consumer service this means the end user may only use the service for residential personal use and not for any business, commercial or other purpose. Time periods Peak means from 6.00pm to 6.00am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). Off-peak means from 6.00am to 6.00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). Download Measurement Period is one month, measured from the commencement date and then each month thereafter.
5 Service description These Grapevine plans are available for TransACT residential plans. The available transmission speeds offered to the end user represent the maximum theoretical transmission speeds achievable under perfect conditions. Actual transmission speeds experienced by each end user may be less than the available transmission speeds as these speeds are affected by many factors beyond Grapevine's control, including (but not limited to) network congestion, internet congestion, packet overhead, TransACT service issues, and CPE capability. For all Grapevine plans, should an end user exceed the peak time download limit within a Download Measurement Period for an applicable plan, the transmission speed available to the end user shall be slowed to and no greater than 72kbps for the remainder of the Download Measurement Period. For all Grapevine plans, should the user exceed the download limit within the Download Measurement Period for an applicable plan over run charges will apply. The following features are provided with each Grapevine plan. accounts 1 x 50MB and 10 x 20MB Web home pages 1 Storage capacity per mailbox 1x 50MB and 10x 20MB Storage per web homepage 50MB Maximum limit for web homepage content transfer 500MB of data per month Access to the internet is through a connection via the TransACT very high speed digital subscriber line network. Grapevine makes no guarantee or assurance as to the availability of the TransACT network. Access must be arranged and paid for by the end user.
6 Free end user support is provided during Grapevine end user support business hours. Refer to for further information on end user support. Service price Fees for these plans are levied according to the standard fee and surcharges for each plan as described in the table above. Payment methods include direct debit via a valid credit card (excluding Amex and Diners Club) or a bank account acceptable to Grapevine. A $20 administration fee applies to all new accounts (bundle customers get a free connection fee). A $20 plan change fee applies to all plan changes after initial sign up. Charges are levied monthly in advance for the fixed fee, and in arrears for any surcharges. Payments of the fixed price per plan are levied and payable in advance starting on the commencement date and on each payment date thereafter. Surcharges are charged in arrears. Prices are GST inclusive. All payments are non-refundable. Additional data transfer per end user web homepage, over and above the included maximum data transfer restriction of 500MB per month, will be charged at 7 cents per MB of transfer or part thereof per month. Payment date Will be on the same date each month following the commencement date for all Grapevine plans. General conditions Only one login at a time is permitted. These plans are not available for end users of permanent IP addresses.
7 Running servers or providing any public information service from a computer utilising the service is strictly prohibited. The end user's use of the service must comply with the Grapevine acceptable use policy. The end user may not resell the service. Special conditions To assist the protection of all Grapevine end users (for example, to reduce the occurrence of spam), where deemed applicable, Grapevine reserves the right to: limit the size of an or attachment limit the number of recipients to an restrict the use of services where deemed inappropriate. Service and plans may be changed or withdrawn at any time by Grapevine. Payment Lodgement, Grapevine Bulletins and automated data usage warning messages are sent to your Grapevine address.
