PROFESSIONAL FITNESS SPECIALIST PROGRAM OVERVIEW The Life Time Academy Professional Fitness Specialist program provides a unique educational experience of online, in classroom and hands-on learning combined with practical experiences. This prepares graduates to succeed as Professional Fitness Specialists in their area of emphasis. Our program is an integrated approach to the area of specialty, applying sound exercise and health science combined with specific program design, coaching and functional application. In addition to a foundation of online core coursework, students receive specific instruction and hands on application in their chosen area. Students will complete the course with confidence in their knowledge, skills and abilities to work as an industry professional at locations such as fitness studios, health clubs and private businesses.

4 Emphasis MIXED MARTIAL ARTS CONDITIONING SPECIALIST The emphasis of MMA Conditioning Specialist is a quality educational experience that prepares graduates to succeed in this specialty, whether new to the industry or expanding their skills. The needs of mixed martial artists are specific to their sport. This program combines the uniqueness and innovation of mixed martial arts with the scientific rationale and key principles of human movement science and NASM Optimum Performance Training (OPT) model into a progressive system. The MMA Conditioning Specialist Program is an 8-week curriculum totaling 40 contact hours. The instructor-led coursework consists of approximately 24 hours of online study (reading, videos, activities, assignments and quizzes), 16 hours of in-club lab class time and 8 hours of self-practice. 5 COSTS MMA CONDITIONING SPECIALIST (CPT CERTIFIED) Tuition $700 Application Fee $25 Total Tuition $725 Books and Supplies,** Exam, and Activity and Lab Fees $254 TOTAL ESTIMATED PROGRAM COST $979* * Includes contact hours, required reading materials and supplies, activity and lab fees, Life Time Academy uniform, and a short-term Diamond-level membership to Life Time Fitness for the duration of the program. ** Students are responsible for ordering their own books and supplies. CPT (Certified Personal Trainer): Needs to be current and from the National Commission of Certifying Agencies (NCCA). Recommended: NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, Cooper Institute.
