3 Turkchem Chem Show Eurasia 2012; "Chemistry World" Gathers Again Where The Continents Meet-Ýstanbul TURKCHEM CHEM SHOW EURASIA, indicated as one of the leading chemistry trade shows of the world, will be opening its doors to exhibitors and visitors for the 5 th time between October 2012 in Istanbul Expo Center, TURKEY. TURKCHEM CHEM SHOW EURASIA 2012 will encircle the chemical industry in a deeper scope of Chemicals, Laboratory, Technology, Cosmetics & Detergents, Food & Pharma, Coatings & Surface, Textile & Leather, Petrochemistry, Composite & Plastic, Water Treatment, Packaging & Recycling. The 4th International Chemical Industry Group Exhibition TURKCHEM CHEM SHOW EURASIA 2010, was organized between 7-10 October in Ýstanbul Expo Center with a great success. The show was held on m2 closed area and took important steps to become a world brand in 2010 with 312 direct exhibitors from 13 countries. The event by hosting country pavillions of China, Egypt and India and over 100 direct international exhibitors from Australia, England, France, Holland, Italy, Korea, Poland, Taiwan, USA, Uzbekistan and by attracting 1478 international (Total 15210) visitors from 65 countries proved that it s an "international" platform. TURKCHEM CHEM SHOW EURASIA 2010; gathered the companies which produce/sell raw materials and auxiliary materials to; paint, ink, pharma, food, detergent, cosmetics, adhesive, construction chemicals, plastic, rubber, cable, composite, petrochemical, textile, leather, water treatment industries with the companies manufacturing finished products. The event also hosted the authorities from packaging, recycling, machinery and equipment, occupational health and safety, logistics, storage companies and the professionals who request these services for four days under one roof. 6 Ak-Kim / Ahmet Serdar Yeðin: Turkey We participate the Turkchem event biennially. By exhibiting at the show, we prefer and aim to meet with all our customers especially from Turkey, and demonstrate our products to our customers to whom we may not visit, by hosting them here in Ýstanbul. By this way we share technical knowledge and conference on market information and share. In this regard, the exhibition is really very usefull. I suppose we will again be exhibiting in the next shows. Akpa Kimya / Kemal Darcan: Turkey I think there are really positive improvements regarding the 2010 event. I notice that the fair which we always take our place for the past years, is mentioned in the market more, and great improvements and activation is achieved in both domestic and overseas markets. In this year's show there is especially a great increase in our foreign visitors, especially from Middle East and North Africa. In addition, we have also visitors from Balcan countries. We have a great opportunity to introduce and promote our industrial products to the beforementioned areas and countries. Hopefully, we will carry the show to better places working hand in glove together. Bayegan / Merih Akyol: Turkey As Bayegan, we take our place in the event in every two years regularly. The show is going great until now. We have also customers here who are also exhibiting and we go and visit their booths. We have a nice place at the show, all exhibitors are great The general aim to exhibit here is that, all the big firms are here under one roof. To take place in this show also means that you are really in the market. For that reasons we exhibit once every two years. It's going great, and we're glad We thank you. Çað Kimya / Burak Baþsoy: Turkey Our show has given its start yesterday and today it's the second day. We really had many visitors yesterday. We had a chance to meet with our new potential customers, but at the same time we came together with our existing customers. We think that the fair is good. Many good companies from different countries have been in the fair as visitors. We think that we may take the advantage of this, both in export and support. We thank Artkim for the show. At the same time the Workshop is really usefull, we think that to give a start to such an activity is of great importance. DuPont / Cengizhan Okur: Turkey The reason for us to be here was to represent two business segments of DuPont. Frankly speaking, as DuPont is a very well known company in the industry, the fair has helped to deliver and reach our new products to end users rather than introducing our products. We have the chance to meet with related profesionalls. Since we have a flexible time here, we talked about new solutions. We are generally glad about the organization and the layout. And we are glad that the visitors are all relevant with the subject. Everlight / Bernardo Yang: Taiwan This exhibition is quite interesting to me so I come from Taiwan especially to attend this meeting-occasion. Since we start with textile dyes and it seems after so many years Turkish industry have been upgrade not only textile but it diversify to so many fields. It is quite amazing to me. Eral - Protek / Nilay Midilli: Turkey I may say that for the past two days we especially had many foreign visitors. The number of visitors we hosted here, was over our expectations since Artkim promoted the event really well both in Turkey and in many different countries. There is no difference in customer profile compared with the past events since our products are adressed to many different sectors. However, we really observed that the market recognition of the event is now much more. There has been many announcements and news on many press and media organ. We benefited from all these advertisements as foreign visitors here at the event. Harke Chemicals / Dirk Forler: Germany Exhibition is very interesting for us as we are a German based distributor for chemicals. And Turkey is very interesting because it is a bridge between Europe and Asia. That is the reason why we are for the first time here and first today is very very exciting and very interesting, a lot of good discussion and we are already sure that we will come back also for the next year. We may not always find the chance to visit our customers regularly. And we meet with them here at the event. We have also the chance to find new customers and new sources. The fair organized by Artkim Fuarcýlýk meets all our expectations well, and we thank Artkim for all the services they provide. IMCD / Gökhan Oran: Turkey We regularly exhibit in the fair since In every passing year, the event is getting bigger and it is also having more success. For these reasons, we aim and plan to support the fair constantly. The fair brings the manufacturers and chemical distributors, all the players in the sector together. Our wish is to see all the related fairs in Turkey under this roof as one and to take our place in this specific fair in every two years time. International Process Plants - IPP / Narendra Vaswani: USA We are participating for the first time. We have a good experience. The first day was definitely not so encouraging. But the second day, the third day today and I am sure that the fourth day tomorrow will be good. We did not have many visitors but we had a good quality visitors. That is very important in exhibition. So overall I may say that yes we are satisfied and we are happy. We are happy with the services. We hope that we will participate in future also. Ýlmor Kimya / Ýzi Morhayim: Turkey This is our second participation. The most important reason for us to participate the fair is that everyone is interested in the event. As a chemistry exhibition, Turkchem has really achieved to bring our sector together. To strenghten our business relationships, and to meet with our customers rather than sales was our aim to exhibit here. For this aspect the fair really helps. Another issue was to meet with international customers. Our expectation is more towards this aim Because this fair is a serious expectation for us to expand overseas. Nur Karakurum Okbay: Turkey We are exhibiting at this show for the second time. Our first exhibit was in year 2006 when the show was first organized. The fair fills a gap in the sector and I think Artkim Publishing and Exhibition Group has filled in this gap very well. We saw it when we first supported the event by our participation in We have been following the event in the course of time. It really drew a succesfull graph. We represented our company this year by our participation in the fair. From this, both the visitors and exhibitors make a profit. We observe that the interest in chemistry is growing in every passing year by the increase in number of visitors and by the variety of exhibitors. These are actually very important gainings and benefits for Turkey. In my opinion the next show will be much more better. I see very positive improvements. Organization is great, and we are glad about it. Because we know that the organizer company has done many promotional activities in foreign countries and in other related fairs. And now they see the advantages of the activities done. Petkim Petrokimya / Lütfi Dörter: Turkey We exhibit in Turkchem regularly since its first edition in We may say that Turkchem is the most efficient, proper and usefull fair we exhibit as Petkim. The show is progressing and getting bigger every year. The coatings and chem shows were together in first years, then they were seperated as Coatings and Chem Shows. Yet we can see the same number of exhibitors in this year's show compared with the two shows organized concurrently in the first years. This is because the fair is very usefull and efficient. Both our visitor s comments and our observations show that the event is really very usefull and efficient. For us, this fair is not only sales-oriented as the other fairs. For companies such as us, it is great to be with our rivals, our friends. To meet with new profesionalls, and to meet our customers with whom we have contact on the phone but did not meet face to face, and to introduce our colleagues- who work mostly in the office - with our customers are also very good opportunities. Besides that, we are really glad that there are many exhibitors from overseas. That's the reason we think that we have given a right decision. Hopefully, we will be here in the next show also. Because we do really get benefit from the exhibition. I say this is the way to make great job in a very short period of time. Our job is not only doing sales.
