5 1 SIP(E) VISION - DASHBOARD This section explains the availability of user functions. These are simple user functions, not configuration functions, and are considered as operations for viewing information, i.e. specific values and the alarm log. All these functions are available without a User Profile and does not require a Login. Note The current version of the Adobe Flash Player must be installed on the computer (available from This is used to display the configuration pages. 1.1 THE PRODUCT SIP(e) Vision is a licence enabled firmware providing Public Display functionality for any SIPe product in our a range of innovative standalone products available for various applications and protocols, see Order Code. This SIP(e) product firmware is compatible with Note Energy/billing software on PC/Monitor Network Screen (MUST have built-in drivers) IPTV (Internet Protocol TV system) Smart TV (e.g. Samsung Series 6) Smart Phones/Tablets We will not recommend specific display devices due to the vast range. Remember Energy metering is compulsory for buildings of a floor area >500M 2. The owner must be able to account for 90% of the consumed energy from each system, i.e. heat, gas, lighting (see Open Technology for details), water and electricity. The internal web pages provide a simple engineering and configuration tool for retrieving data from a defined source and displaying the information in the form of user selected widgets. These web pages also allow configuration of scheduled Alarm, Energy and/or Meter Reading Reports. Following a successful login, Graph data can also be manually downloaded as CSV files for use with third party Energy Billing/Management packages. This can be used to identify and target areas of the buildings utility infrastructure that can be improved to reduce usage and costs. Tip! Remember Products do NOT save energy, but the actions performed as a result of the highlighted improvements will provide real savings. Upgrade a SIPe M-Logger, SIPe IF-Logger or SIPe B-Logger to SIPe Vision for added public display option functionality. 1 Issue 1, Oct. 2013
