4 4 RAM7: Remote Annunciator Module DESCRIPTION The Remote Annunciator Module is a user interface panel for remote viewing the status of the generator set. It has LED indicators for various alarms generated by the genset. The communication with the control panel module is done via CAN bus. Besides the alarm s LED indicators, the Remote Annunciator Control Module has two additional fixed LED. The first displays that power is connected (Power On LED) and a second that shows the connection with the controller (Link Lost LED). It also has a button to mute the audible alarm notification. Finally a LED indicator test button is also included.

5 5 RAM7: Remote Annunciator Module REMOTE ANNUNCIATOR PROGRAMMING The Remote Annunciator Panel LED programming is performed by the Configuration Software (version 1.6 and above). The presence of the Remote Annunciator tab is subject to the detection of a device upon installation. Picture 1. Remote Annunciator Module.! The programming process of a LED is as follows: 1. Select the conditions for activation of all Remote Annunciator Module LED depending on the status of the CEM7 control panel. 2. Press the write parameter button from the Configuration Software Options tab.

6 6 RAM7: Remote Annunciator Module FUNCIONALITY The remote annunciator module has 17 LED s alarm indicators. It allows free allocation of each LED to an alarm through software or through the control panel display (family CEx7). Each RAM7 LED will flash whenever the alarm associated with that LED is in an active state. Each LED will remain lit if the alarm associated is an active state pending operator acknowledgment. Each LED will remain fixed and inactive (no Light) if the alarm associated with that LED is in an inactive state. The RAM7 buzzer initiates an audible alarm whenever there is an active alarm pending operator acknowledgment. The orange Link Lost LED indicates communication failure with the main control panel. The remote annunciator module panel comes with a set of printed and die-cut labels of all alarms available in the main control panel, for insertion into the cover of the RAM7 panel. The Remote Annunciator Module will set as default to NFPA 110 alarms as shown in Picture 2. Picture 2. Remote Annunciator Module frontal view (NFPA110 alarms).
