Their energy consumption is so large that they can trade it on the wholesale market via a flexible energy contract. This means they can spread their risk across a number of trades unlocking the potential to buy energy at a lower cost. Utilitywise are here to level the playing field. The Energy Alliance gives medium energy users all the advantages of buying on the wholesale market through a flexible energy contract with added energy saving solutions to benefit your business.

6 Energy Alliance The Energy Alliance is a powerful ally in the fight against rising energy costs. You receive a fixed energy price (the budget price). This means: You know the budget price before you sign on to the Energy Alliance The budget price is held for the length of the contract. The budget price cannot go up* Each year the budget price can be reduced to reflect the buying gains the trading team make on the wholesale market. *Subject to any change in rate required to be imposed by law, new casts introduced after the date of the agreement, or a force majeure event which impacts purchasing under the budget portfolio

7 What happens We send you the current budget price for the next Energy Alliance to be launched. If you don t like the price you can drop out of the Energy Alliance and we will look for another pricing deal for you. If you are happy with the budget price then you sign up. If necessary we sort out a bridging contract to take you up to the start date of the Energy Alliance contract. We amalgamate all energy needs for everyone in this particular Alliance and the trading teams start to purchase the energy needed for the whole Energy Alliance contract. Once all the energy is purchased the budget price is changed to reflect any buying gains made by the trading teams. Which means the actual price should be lower than the budget price. In any case the price will be no higher than the budget price. We start to deliver the energy savings products and services included within the Energy Alliance offering as soon as the bridging contract is running, if not before.

9 AMR meter Every Energy Alliance pack comes with an AMR meter unless one is already fitted to the site. An AMR meter replaces your existing meter and includes a one-way link to allow collection of your consumption data, allowing the energy supplier to provide more accurate bills. The half-hourly profile data is also sent to Utility Insight.

10 Utility Insight A web-based utility reporting tool that can take the data from the AMR meter and displays the consumption in easy to understand dashboards and reports. It is multi-utility so can display electricity, gas and water usage. Set up a number of dashboards to give you immediate access to the data you need. Utility Insight can help you identify ways to reduce your consumption.

11 Energy Health Check The Energy Health Check is the first step in reducing your energy costs and lowering your carbon footprint. Compares your energy efficiency with the national average for a similar size business working the same hours. It gives you an accurate understanding of how much energy you re using and what kind of cuts in consumption are realistic for your business.

12 Energy Saving Awareness Course This easy to understand online course is designed to show your staff just how much energy is wasted by heating, lighting and other equipment. It is crammed full of facts, advice and energy saving tips. It can highlight the impact they can have on lowering energy and water consumption. Ultimately it can act as a useful tool to engage your workforce and kick-start cost savings.

13 Water Bill Audit Our Water Bill Analysis System can quickly show us if your various water charges have been calculated correctly. Our water experts analyse all aspects of your water, surface drainage and sewerage charges. This gives an indication if any rebates are due. If a rebate looks likely you can enter into an agreement with Utilitywise to pursue the water company for the money you are owed.
