1 Accounting Karmak Business System Fusion Release APM11000 Parts Receiving Reconciliation Software Issue Addressed When splitting a reference, the program was using the login branch to pick the next reference number. It should be using the next reference number from the branch for which you are splitting the reference. Software Issue Addressed The fields on the Adjustments and Merge/Split tabs were not staying enabled in the Edit mode after you clicked the Manually Reference A/P Invoice hyperlink on the Totals tab. Software Issue Addressed If a reference number existed in more than one branch, the program was pulling the A/P information from the reference number listed in the data grid first. Software Issue Addressed The program was not displaying core information for exchange parts on the Adjustments tab. The core record displayed in the data grid, but the fields in the Core Detail group box were not populated. APM22000 A/P Invoice Entry Enhancement The Reference Information group box was added to the Additional search tab to allow you to search for records based on whether a reference number is attached to the invoice. The Reference column will be included in the search results data grid when the Not Referenced radio button is selected, while the Reference Branch and Reference columns will be included when the Referenced radio button is selected. Software Issue Addressed Zero dollar invoices were showing as unpaid and appearing in the search results data grid. The Include $0 Invoices check box was added to the Main search tab to allow you to determine whether zero dollar invoices are included in the search results. Software Issue Addressed The program was not allowing you to modify the default values on the Sales Tax Liability line in the data grid. The fields will now be enabled. Software Issue Addressed The program was allowing you to post an A/P invoice without an invoice number or a posting description. The Post button was enabled when the Invoice and Posting Description required fields were blank. Software Issue Addressed No search results were returned when a value was entered in the Reference field on the Main search tab. Software Issue Addressed Zero dollar checks used to pay credit or debit invoices were not updating the Payment Information tab, which made it difficult to find payments to specific invoices. Software Issue Addressed The program would not allow you to edit the override posting description and/or control number for a saved invoice. 2 Software Issue Addressed The G/L Description column was added to the editable data grid on the Main tab. This column will show the short description of the G/L account validated for the row. Software Issue Addressed If inter-branch accounting was created when you referenced a miscellaneous purchase order to an A/P invoice, the branch for which the MPO was created was not displayed in the branch totals data grid at the bottom of the Main tab. The invoice posted correctly, but the branch code did not appear in the data grid. The decision was made to remove the branch numeric value from the inter-branch data grid. Software Issue Addressed If you entered an invalid value in the Vendor field, and then pressed the Cancel button on the A/P Vendor Selection form, the program was still populating the field with a valid vendor, rather than leaving the field blank. Software Issue Addressed If an invoice was displayed in multiple instances of the program at the same time, a user was able to void the invoice twice, once in each program. An error message (The AP Invoice is already voided) will now display in this scenario. APM23000 A/P Check Processing Software Issue Addressed The Print Checks check box was checked and the button enabled when you selected a vendor with a credit balance. If a vendor has a negative balance and/or a credit memo was selected, you are only allowed to process a negative check. Software Issue Addressed The data grid on the Select Invoices for Payment tab now allows you to sort the records by any column. By default, the data grid sorts by Name and then Invoice. Software Issue Addressed If an invoice was voided while still selected for payment, the voided invoice did not show as selected in the worksheet, but the invoice was listed on the check stub twice, increasing the check amount and causing the vendor to be overpaid for the invoice. APM60680 Accounts Payable Aging Software Issue Addressed Invoices paid for a prior month but posted to the current month were not appearing on the report when run for a prior month. APM63000 Accounts Payable Check Software Issue Addressed The check number and vendor were listed incorrectly in the Report Viewer s tree view. The check number included a comma and a decimal, while the vendor s identifier was displayed rather than the vendor s name and number. Software Issue Addressed The invoices on a check stub were printing in posting order rather than by invoice date. The report will now look to Branch Parameter 296 (Check Invoice Sort Order) to determine how the invoices should be sorted on the stub (i.e., invoice date or invoice number). Software Issue Addressed The Print Memo Information on Stub report parameter was added to allow you to prevent the department and G/L number from printing on the check stub. 3 APM90200 A/P Vendor Software Issue Addressed The Total Balance Due field on the Search tab was not reflecting the total due for the search results. The field was, instead, displaying the total balance due for only those vendors listed in the data grid (e.g., Records 1 through 50 of 505). ARM23000 Billing Service Invoice Selection Software Issue Addressed An error message occurred when attempting to submit a batch of invoices. ARM24000 Customer Statement Setup Options Software Issue Addressed When accessed via PMU90850 Job Scheduler (i.e., selecting the New button from the Customer Statement Setup Options Selection form), the title in the program s window was incorrect. ARM40475 Sales Tax Detail by Invoice Software Issue Addressed Invoiced parts orders with an action of Inter Branch were updating the report when they should not have been. Parts from these orders should be treated as backordered parts and filtered from the report. ARM40485 Sales Tax Charged Software Issue Addressed Invoiced parts orders with an action of Inter Branch were updating the report when they should not have been. Parts from these orders should be treated as backordered parts and filtered from the report. ARM40680 Accounts Receivable Aging Enhancement The report was modified to allow you to run the aging by invoice date. The Date Type parameter was renamed Aging Method, and Invoice Date was added as a valid option in the parameter s Value drop-down list (the default is Due Date). Additional modifications were also made to the report s parameters: o The Print Shading and Print Parameters report parameters were moved to the bottom of the list. o The Salesperson Number parameter was renamed Salesperson. o The default for the Brief/Detailed parameter was changed to Detail, while the default for the Print Overall Customer Total parameter was changed to Yes. Software Issue Addressed The report was not considering the Salesperson Number report parameter when a specific salesperson was selected and was returning all records. Software Issue Addressed The report was not filtering lease/rental invoices when running for a specific payment method. It was discovered that the report was not populating the payment method for these invoices, which explains why they were still included on the report when run by payment method. Page 3 of 20
4 ARM60100 Customer Statement Software Issue Addressed Multiple issues with regards to payments were found and corrected on the statement: o Partial payments to lease/rental invoices were listed multiple times on the statement. o Partial payments did not print on the statement when you manually requested all customer statements. The partial payments would only print when you requested a specific customer. o If you had multiple payments in Unapplied Cash that were added at the same time (i.e., same user payment method, reference, document date, and amount), the report was only printing the first payment on the statement. o Clearing void/re-invoice service invoices was not reflected on the statement correctly. When payments were applied to.01 and.02 service invoices, the statement was showing a partial payment to the original invoice. ARM63000 A/R Refund Check Software Issue Addressed The check number was not printing on the check stub. ARM90300 Customer Software Issue Addressed When you edited a customer record and added an address, the balances on the Account Information tab were set to $0.00. Software Issue Addressed When a payment method is assigned to a branch, records are created in the branch payment method table for that payment method and any user-defined payment methods. When a payment method is assigned to a customer, the program was displaying the description from the branch payment method table rather than the actual payment method. If a payment method was modified, the program was displaying old data that may have been confusing to the user. The Description column was removed from the branch payment method table and the program was modified to display the current user-defined payment method description. ARM90310 Quick Create Customer Enhancement This is a new application that allows you to quickly create a customer record without accessing ARM90300 Customer. The program may be accessed via the tree view (Accounting > Accounts Receivable > Quick Create Customer), or by pressing the Create Customer button in the Customer Selection form called from a Customer VTL. ARM91000 Customer Activity Software Issue Addressed When a payment was partially applied and the remainder moved to another customer s account and applied to an invoice, if you voided the original payment, the program was crediting the original account for the full unapplied amount, but also leaving the remainder amount in the other customer s account. Software Issue Addressed If you selected a customer on the Invoice Information or Payment Information search tab, the program did not filter the search results based on the customer base branch associated with the branch you were logged into, which caused issues on multiple branch Page 4 of 20
5 systems with the same customer. The Base Branch field was added to both search tabs to allow you to filter the results (the field defaults to the customer base branch associated with your login branch). Software Issue Addressed Unapplied credit payments were not appearing in the search results for the Payment Information search tab. Software Issue Addressed When you searched for records from the Invoice Information tab with the Payments radio button selected, the values in the Invoice Amount column (in the search results data grid) showed four decimal places instead of two. ARM93100 Invoice Summary Search Enhancement The program was enhanced for the edata Exchange interface to allow EDI 810 outbound invoices to be transmitted to the appropriate edata Exchange server. The edata Exchange Partner drop-down list and EDI 810 Export button were added to the form. GLM22000 Journal Entry Software Issue Addressed The G/L Description column was added to the editable data grid on the Main tab. This column will show the short description of the G/L account validated for the row. Software Issue Addressed If inter-branch accounting existed on a deal (e.g., the unit existed in one branch and the deal was created in a second branch), the unit s owning branch was not displayed in the branch totals data grid at the bottom of the Main tab. The posting was performed correctly, but the branch code did not appear in the data grid. The decision was made to remove the branch numeric value from the inter-branch data grid. Software Issue Addressed Repair orders for Sales Management units were posting to the inventory type s Inventory G/L account number using the customer service unit number as the control number, rather than the sales stock number. GLM60500 Individual G/L Transaction Listing Enhancement This is a new report that allows you to print the details of an individual G/L transaction from the GLM90500 G/L Transactions application. GLM60850 Brief Balance Sheet Software Issue Addressed The report was not balancing; the Capital total was incorrect. GLM63000 General Ledger Check Software Issue Addressed The check number was not printing on the check stub. GLM90000 Fiscal Year Parameters Software Issue Addressed The Calculate Retained Earnings and Close Fiscal Period buttons disappeared when the form was maximized. Page 5 of 20
6 GLM90200 Schedule Controls Software Issue Addressed When the Transaction Set Default Description field for the Deal Accounting Balance Due schedule control included the <customer name> tag, the journal entry posting for deal packet accounting was incorrectly pulling the customer account number into the override posting description, instead of the customer s name. GLM90500 G/L Transactions Software Issue Addressed When Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Notes Payable checks were voided through GLM91000 Check Register, the source application for the voided check transaction in GLM90500 G/L Transactions was incorrect. Changes were made in the application to correct the issue, as well as rename/modify the source application for specific checks. The source application for: o A/P Check Processing will now be A/P Check o Check Register will now be G/L Check o Notes Payable Worksheet will now be Notes Payable Check o Refund checks will no longer use Customer Activity as the source application, but will instead be A/R Refund Check Software Issue Addressed The amount posted to the Inventory and COGS G/L accounts for point-ofsale assembly transactions was off by a penny or two when the cost of the parts included in the assembly was past two decimal places. MPO95100 Miscellaneous P/O Maintenance Software Issue Addressed The program now allows you to change a billable miscellaneous purchase order to non-billable, as well as a non-billable MPO to billable, if there are no items on the MPO referenced on parts or repair orders, or the MPO is not referenced on an A/P invoice. NPM99460 Notes Payable Payment Edit Software Issue Addressed When you edited the principal or interest amount on a note, the program was not pushing the change back to the worksheet. This meant the total payment amount was not updated, and the wrong amount was paid and posted. PMB99500 Payment Term Software Issue Addressed The customer discount was not calculating correctly when set to calculate on the gross amount. Business Intelligence BI11010 Available Reporting Software Issue Addressed An error occurred when the Group ID for a group with a view on it was the same as the View ID for the view with a chart tied to it. 7 BI95100 Maintain Views Software Issue Addressed There were multiple Condition Group 1 values listed for a view. If the condition operator for the first record was blank, the application added another Condition Group 1 record. If the condition operator is blank, the application will now update it to None, rather than add a new record. BI96100 Group Maintenance Enhancement Icons were added to the Bulletin Board display to allow you to remove the Business Intelligence navigation menu and logo, displaying only the items in the bulletin board. Business Intelligence: Accounting Software Issue Addressed The Customer field in the General Ledger component was blank for lease/rental billing transactions. Business Intelligence: Lease Rental Enhancement New data points were added for L/R Contracts (Open Lease Contracts, Open Rental Contracts, Open Maintenance Contracts, All Open L/R Contracts, Number of Lease Units on Contract, Number of Rental Units on Contract, Number of Maintenance Units on Contract, Number of Units on Contract) and L/R Customer Insurance (Expired Insurance Records This Month). These data points will be included on the Lease & Rental dashboard added to the Executive Dashboard group view. Software Issue Addressed The Current LR Contract field in the L/R Units component was incorrect. The field was displaying the contract history of the unit instead of the current contract with which the unit was associated (or blank if the unit was not currently on a contract). Business Intelligence: Parts Software Issue Addressed The Extended Inherent Core Average Cost field for the Inventory component was blank, even though the Core Inherent Average Cost field showed a value. The following changes were made to the component: o The Core Inherent Average Cost and Core Replacement Cost fields were removed from the component. o The Inherent Core Average Cost and Inherent Core Replacement Cost fields will now read the cost from the actual core record. o The Extended Inherent Core Average Cost and Extended Inherent Core Replacement Cost fields will now read the quantity of the exchange part. Software Issue Addressed The Inventory component was not returning any data for the Last Price File Upd field. Business Intelligence: Service Enhancement The description of the Technician Performance component in the WebHelp file was updated to identify how performance data is grouped (i.e., by technician number and repair group). 8 Software Issue Addressed The correct sign was not displaying in specific fields in the Repair Orders component for voided invoices (RO Parts Average Cost, RO Total Gross Profit Replacement Cost, RO Total Replacement Cost and Task Total Gross Profit Replacement Cost). Business Online Software Issue Addressed When creating a parts order in Business Online, the application was charging core prices to those customers established in the business system to not be charged for cores. The application will now check the PRC93550 Customer Special Pricing record to determine if the customer should be charged for cores. Software Issue Addressed Shipping methods selected in Business Online were not being sent to the parts order in the business system as a pickup/delivery method or comment. Software Issue Addressed Clicking an Add to Cart hyperlink on the Recently Purchased Parts screen was not adding the corresponding part to the cart. Software Issue Addressed An issue was found when importing parts from the Fusion business system: Fusion allowed for part numbers using up to 50 alpha-numeric characters, while the Quick Order and Favorites importing options in Business Online only allowed for 30 characters. Business Online now allows for up to 50 alpha-numeric characters if you are using Fusion. Software Issue Addressed The Display Order/Invoice screen was not displaying today s invoices. Software Issue Addressed If the data grid on a particular tab was especially long, the hyperlinks that typically display at the bottom of the form (e.g., Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, etc.) were appearing in the middle of the data grid. Software Issue Addressed The Display Order/Invoice screen was not sorting correctly. Records were sorted by invoice number instead of date. Software Issue Addressed If you entered shipping instructions during checkout, the instructions were crammed next to the shipping address in the confirmation . The instructions and the address will now print on separate lines. PSP92000 Business Online Setup Software Issue Addressed If shipping instructions were entered during the checkout process, a random comment type was pulled into the parts order. The Default Comment Type field was added to the Business Online tab to allow you to specify the comment type used in this scenario. Lease/Rental DTC61400 Degel Rental Agreement Software Issue Addressed This is a custom rental agreement for Degel Truck Center. LRM92500 Customer Insurance Software Issue Addressed The Customer VTL field will now filter the available customers to only those with the same base branch as that associated with your login branch. 9 LRO11100 L/R Contract Software Issue Addressed The Payment Method VTL on the Detail tab was returning all payment methods, instead of only those assigned to the selected branch. Software Issue Addressed The program was allowing you to add an inactive occurrence of a unit to a contract. LRO22100 L/R Billing Software Issue Addressed An Unexpected Error occurred when trying to bill an individual billing if the payment term for the customer tied to the contract was blank. The program will now return a more descriptive message in this scenario (Payment Terms not set up for customer). OEM Communications DTNA Uptime Pro Enhancement A Create Repair Order call made by DTNA Uptime Pro to the Karmak web service will prompt the business system to create a new open repair order. Enhancement An Add Job to Repair Order call made by DTNA Uptime Pro to the Karmak web service will prompt the business system to add a job/task to an open repair order. Enhancement A Change Job SRT Time call made by DTNA Uptime Pro to the Karmak web service will prompt the business system to change the SRT time on a repair order task for an open repair order. Enhancement A Change Job Technician call made by DTNA Uptime Pro to the Karmak web service will be translated and read on the business system. No updates are performed, however, as this feature is not available at this time. Enhancement A Change Job Hourly Labor Rate call made by DTNA Uptime Pro to the Karmak web service will prompt the business system to change the labor rate on a repair order task for an open repair order. edata Exchange Enhancement The edata Exchange interface was enhanced to retrieve Inbound EDI 850 Purchase Order files from the edata Exchange server, and use them to create parts orders on the business system. Enhancement The edata Exchange interface was enhanced to allow you to transmit, via PSP22200 Parts Order, an open parts order or quote to VIPAR as an EDI 843 VIPAR Draft Cart Request for Quotation document. VIPAR will translate the file for review by the Allied Waste Corporation, which will reply with a purchase order number (in the form of an Inbound X Purchase Order) to approve the parts order. Enhancement The edata Exchange interface was enhanced to process Inbound X Purchase Order files sent by the Allied Waste Corporation for VIPAR Draft Cart. The file will be used to approve and update open parts orders or parts order quotes. Page 9 of 20
10 EDE90000 edata Exchange Server Enhancement The edata Exchange Server Retrieval Options group box was added to the form to allow you to determine whether the edata Exchange server checks for inbound documents. EDE90810 edata Exchange Outbound EDI 810 Enhancement This is a new scheduled application to be run from the Job Scheduler as part of the edata Exchange interface. The program should be scheduled to run on a recurring basis to gather and send edata Exchange Outbound EDI 810 invoices. EDE91000 edata Exchange Partner Enhancement The Outbound Invoice tab was added to allow you to indicate whether Outbound 810 invoices will be sent to the EDI trading partner, as well as the customer for whom invoices will be sent and the settings of specific values within the 810 invoice files. Enhancement The Inbound Purchase Order tab was added to allow you to indicate whether Inbound 850 purchase orders may be accepted for a partner, as well as establish the details required to create parts orders on the business system from the purchase order files. Enhancement The VIPAR Draft Cart tab was added to allow you to indicate whether the edata Exchange partner is set to use VIPAR Draft Cart, as well as establish the detail necessary to manage the inbound and outbound Draft Cart files. GLM16500 OEM Financial Software Issue Addressed The Transmitted flag in the financial header record was not set after a financial statement had been successfully transmitted to an OEM, preventing you from searching for transmitted records. Mack Volvo LPA Software Issue Addressed D40 transactions were not sent correctly to Mack Volvo, which meant they could not create accurate suggested orders. Parts/Inventory INV62550 Customer Backorder Software Issue Addressed Customer and inter-branch backorders were not refreshing average and replacement costs when a backorder was filled. INV65050 Parts Sold Software Issue Addressed The Total Extended Inherent amount in the Price column was incorrect. Page 10 of 20
11 INV65525 Salesperson Summary Enhancement This is a new report (added under the Analysis Reports bar panel) that provides a quick overview of salesperson activity during a specified date range. INV65550 Parts Sales History Listing Enhancement This is a new report (added under the Analysis Reports bar panel) that generates a listing of sales history for the current and/or prior year for a specific month, year-to-date, or both. INV68400 Average Cost/Replacement Cost Discrepancies Software Issue Addressed Parts with zero quantity on hand and an average cost higher than the replacement cost were not printing on the report. Zero-quantity parts would only print when the replacement cost was higher than the average cost. INV68500 Inter-Branch Pick List Software Issue Addressed If an inter-branch order included a part that was to be filled from multiple branches, the report was printing both branches on the same pick list. An individual report will now print in each filling branch, and the report will only contain the items to be filled from the specific branch. INV68504 Automated Inter-Branch Pick List Software Issue Addressed If an inter-branch order included a part that was to be filled from multiple branches, the report was printing both branches on the same pick list. An individual report will now print in each filling branch, and the report will only contain the items to be filled from the specific branch. INV68505 Inter-Branch Shipment Software Issue Addressed The report was printing every part message that was entered from a parts order for a specific part. INV69000 Parts Turn & Earn Software Issue Addressed Data was missing from the report. INV69100 Customer Fill Ratio Enhancement This is a new report (added under the Analysis Reports bar panel) that allows you to review a customer s fill ratio for a specific date range, as well as track how each line item/part on parts and/or repair orders was processed. INV71400 Customer Purchases/Returns Software Issue Addressed The program would not allow you to search for customers in a specific base branch if you were not logged into that base branch. 12 INV90000 Supplier Software Issue Addressed The Import button on the Attachments tab was not enabled in the Edit mode, and the Save button in the toolbar was not enabled after a file had been imported. INV91000 Parts Inventory Software Issue Addressed The program was allowing users to view a part s average and replacement costs when they did not have permission to do so (i.e., the View Cost permission was not checked). Software Issue Addressed When a part record is changed to an assembly, the average cost will now be reset to $0.00. At the point of sale, the average cost used to relieve the COGS G/L account will be calculated by adding the extended average costs of all detail part records in the assembly. Software Issue Addressed The Import button on the Attachments tab was not enabled in the Edit mode. Software Issue Addressed If a part number existed under multiple suppliers, and two text cross references existed where the text was the same as the part number, the Parts Inventory Selection form (called by the Part Number VTL in a variety of applications) was not listing the two part numbers. INV91050 Parts Inventory Mass Update Enhancement If you change the lead time, order frequency, and/or days of stock, the program will now update the parts buy time (i.e., Lead Time + Order Frequency + Days of Stock). INV91600 Cross Reference and Supersession Software Issue Addressed Bin locations were missing from new part records following a supersession. INV93600 Immediate Inter-Branch Transfer Enhancement When a transfer results in a new part record being created in the To branch, the program will now look to Company Parameter 264 (Default New Parts to Non-Stock) to determine the stock status of the new part record. MPO95100 Miscellaneous P/O Maintenance Software Issue Addressed When the miscellaneous purchase order included multiple bill only parts with the same cost, the amount in the Invoice MPO Cost field on the Accounting tab was incorrect. The field was only displaying the cost for one part, rather than the total cost for all parts. Software Issue Addressed The program now allows you to change a billable miscellaneous purchase order to non-billable, as well as a non-billable MPO to billable, if there are no items on the MPO referenced on parts or repair orders, or the MPO is not referenced on an A/P invoice. PRC40200 Price File Processing Software Issue Addressed The Velocity Code option was missing from the Price File Field drop-down list on the Inventory Field Updates tab. Page 12 of 20
13 PRC40500 Price File Part Number Software Issue Addressed The Create button will now be enabled even if one of the price levels for a part record will be zero. A message will display to notify you of the price level before the record is created. Software Issue Addressed The program would not allow you to create a part from a price file when the Description field in the price file was blank. Software Issue Addressed A duplicate error was occurring when attempting to create a new part. The unit of measure in the price file was ea, while the value in the quick list was EA. The program s logic specifies that a new unit of measure be created if a match cannot be found. The duplicate error appeared when the program tried to add ea to the quick list. The program will now create the part record with the EA unit of measure in this scenario. PRC60100 Parts Price Overrides Software Issue Addressed The report was not returning any data when Shop was selected for the Counter/Shop report parameter. (Users will need to upgrade their business system to , and then start changing prices on repair order parts, to see the change made in this release reflected on the report.) Software Issue Addressed Non-costed miscellaneous charges were included on the report when a price change was not made. PRC93550 Customer Special Pricing Software Issue Addressed The Customer VTL was not returning any records unless you were logged into the same customer base branch as the customer records. PSP22200 Parts Order Enhancement When the outside and inside salespeople on a parts order are the same, the program now looks to Branch Department Parameter 280 (Salesperson to Pay Commission) to determine the salesperson record paid the commission. Enhancement EDI was added to the Source drop-down list to allow you to search for parts orders created using the edata Exchange interface. Enhancement To allow for longer messages and multiple lines of entry, the Message fields on the Part Entry and Misc Entry tabs were removed and replaced by the Message tab. The tab will appear only after a part number or miscellaneous charge has been validated. You may select a pre-defined comment to associate with the detail item, or enter up to 7,500 alpha-numeric characters in the Comment field. Enhancement The Export button was added to the toolbar to allow you to export an open parts order or quote for a selected interface. Selecting the VIPAR Draft Cart option from the button s dropdown list builds an EDI 843 VIPAR Draft Cart Request for Quotation, a draft document to get approval for parts being ordered by Allied Waste. 14 Software Issue Addressed Comments on a quote were not transferred when the quote was turned into a parts order. Software Issue Addressed When the Require an MPO for bill-only or buyout parts permission was checked, the program was requiring you reference a bill only part to a miscellaneous purchase order when a quote was created. The Reference MPO field will no longer be required when creating a quote. Software Issue Addressed If you accessed a customer record by selecting the Customer hyperlink on the Parts Order tab, and you edited the record to include additional payment methods, the new payment methods were not available when you returned to the parts order. The application was requiring you to exit the form and re-open the parts order before you could access the new payment methods. The parts order header fields will now refresh when you return to the application after selecting the Customer hyperlink. Software Issue Addressed The Part Number VTL was not performing a cross reference lookup if multiple cross references existed for the same text value. Software Issue Addressed The program would not allow you to view an invoiced parts order that was previously voided/re-opened while the voided parts order was open. Software Issue Addressed When converting a parts quote into an open order, if the quote contain a point-of-sale assembly and you select No at the prompt to keep quoted prices, the program will recalculate the selling price of the point-of-sale assembly using the current cost and prices from the assembly detail (rather than the calculated price from when the assembly was created). Similarly, the point-of-sale assembly s average and replacement costs will be recalculated using the current average and replacement costs from the assembly detail (rather than the costs from when the assembly was created). In addition, when converting a parts order quote into an open order, the process will refresh the replacement cost for all parts. Software Issue Addressed Pricing was not refreshed when the billing customer was changed on a parts order. Software Issue Addressed If a customer was set to not be charged for cores, and you merged two or more exchange part records on a parts order, a core charge was added to the order. Software Issue Addressed If a customer was set in PRC93550 Customer Special Pricing to not be charged for cores, the customer was still charged for cores when an inter-branch parts order was created. Software Issue Addressed The Outside Parts Salesperson field on the Billing Customer tab was not populated when a parts order was created via the Business Online interface. Software Issue Addressed When you invoiced a parts order that included a point-of-sale assembly with the Print Core Detail on Invoice check box not checked, an exchange part, and multiple dirty cores, the accounting transactions for the invoice were incorrect. The Dirty Core Inventory and COGS transactions were only updated by the point-of-sale assembly quantity, and not the assembly quantity multiplied by the detail quantity. Page 14 of 20
15 PSP60100 Pick List Software Issue Addressed When you reprinted the pick list, if no new parts had been added and the Include Pulled Parts report parameter was set to No, the header information was not printing on the report. PSP60125 Parts Quote Software Issue Addressed Comments were not printing on the quote even though the comment type was flagged to do so. PSP60200 Parts Order Invoice Software Issue Addressed When using Signature Capture, some invoices that needed to be signed by a customer were already displaying a random signature. PUR65100 Purchase Order Enhancement Purchase order comments were printing at the very bottom of the document. Comments will now print higher on the page. PUR65105 Suggested Parts Purchase Order Software Issue Addressed Totals were incorrect; the report was using the number of branches associated with a part on the purchase order to calculate the extended cost and total pieces. PUR65505 Parts Inventory Receiving Summary Report Enhancement The report may now run and subtotal by branch. The Branch and Branch Total fields were added to the report, as well as the Branch report parameter. PUR95100 Parts Purchase Order Software Issue Addressed Parts purchase orders were exported for EDI without the purchase conversion occurring. Software Issue Addressed When a part was deleted from a purchase order and the order s other parts were received in full, the status of the purchase order was still set to Partial. Software Issue Addressed The amounts in the Totals group box were not reflective of all parts on the purchase order. The fields were, instead, only displaying the totals for the records listed in the data grid (e.g., Records 1 through 50 of 300). PUR95105 Request Suggested Purchase Order Software Issue Addressed If a part already existed on order under a hot flag, the part would not be pulled onto a suggested order. Software Issue Addressed Non-stock parts that are on order in the Buy For branch were appearing as parts to order in the Buy branch. (The stock status for the parts in both branches was Non-Stock.) 16 Software Issue Addressed Parts were appearing on suggested orders with an incorrect order amount, based on the quantity on hand and the order point. If an in process return purchase order existed for the part, the order amount was too high; if an in process purchase order existed for the part, the order amount was too low. Sales Management FCU20710 Cummins Transit & Shuttle Bus Extended Coverage Software Issue Addressed The Enter Parameter Values window was appearing when running the form. LPO93130 Local Purchase Order Maintenance Software Issue Addressed The program was allowing you to select inactive local purchase order types and save them on the LPO. MAF20400 MA RMV-1 Application Form Software Issue Addressed A new version (1/2013) of the form is available. ONF20100 ON Application for Vehicle Registration Software Issue Addressed A new version (2013/02) of the form is available. ONF20140 ON Application for Special Permit Software Issue Addressed This is a new form for Ontario. SMU12000 Deal Software Issue Addressed When adding comments to a worksheet or deal, an extra blank line was added to the data grid on the Comments tab when you pressed the Add button. Software Issue Addressed The sales tax on the deal was incorrect. The amount was correct on the Sales Tax tab, if you selected the hyperlink, but the amount in the Sales Tax field on the Deal tab was incorrect. Software Issue Addressed On the Deal tab, the Invoice Date field was not populated and the Accounting Review hyperlink not enabled if the deal was invoiced in SMU13000 Deal Packet. SMU13000 Deal Packet Software Issue Addressed The units in the data grid on the Service Unit tab were not listed numerically. Software Issue Addressed Errors were occurring with regards to add-ons. Selecting the Deal Add-Ons hyperlink on the Deal Packet tab returned an error and would not display the Addon tab. Selecting the Units Add-Ons hyperlink displayed the Addon tab, but an error message was returned when you attempted to edit the form. Page 16 of 20
17 SMU20430 Unit Spec Sheet Software Issue Addressed Unit comments with a comment type that was flagged to print on the spec sheet were not printing on the report. SMU23510 Receive Invoice Software Issue Addressed The system allowed you to delete a unit record even though a posted, received invoice existed for the unit. If you recreated the unit, and repeated the receive invoice process, the program threw an error message regarding inventory type accounting when you pressed the Continue button. You are no longer able to delete a unit record if the unit is referenced on a received invoice. UNT93210 Unit Mass Update Software Issue Addressed An error message appeared when you pressed the Finish button if a characteristic you chose to update included a hyphen. UNT94600 Unit Maintenance Software Issue Addressed The value in the Days in Inventory field (Sales/Acquisition tab) was calculated incorrectly and differed from the value returned on the Detailed Unit Aging (SMU40620) report. Software Issue Addressed The system allowed you to delete a unit record even though a posted, received invoice existed for the unit. If you recreated the unit, and repeated the receive invoice process, the program threw an error message regarding inventory type accounting when you pressed the Continue button. You are no longer able to delete a unit record if the unit is referenced on a received invoice. UNT97500 Unit Mass Copy Software Issue Addressed Users were receiving an error message when trying to create new units if the stock number was 10 digits. Service Management LPO20340 Local Purchase Order Software Issue Addressed Internal service customers were not printing on the report. MPO95100 Miscellaneous P/O Maintenance Software Issue Addressed The program would not allow you to edit the A/P vendor on a miscellaneous purchase order when the referenced repair order had been invoiced and then voided/re-opened. Software Issue Addressed A constraint violation was preventing you from editing the Customer field in the Billable Reference Information group box on the Header tab. Any changes made to the field were not saved when you exited the application; the field reverted to the previous value. Page 17 of 20
18 Software Issue Addressed When a miscellaneous purchase order was created from a repair order and referenced to it, the billing status on the MPO was not updated to Referenced. Software Issue Addressed The business system crashed when you attempted to edit the Description/Comment field of a miscellaneous purchase order for a miscellaneous charge (i.e., the Misc Charge radio button in the Item Type group box was selected). Software Issue Addressed The program now allows you to change a billable miscellaneous purchase order to non-billable, as well as a non-billable MPO to billable, if there are no items on the MPO referenced on parts or repair orders, or the MPO is not referenced on an A/P invoice. Software Issue Addressed An error message was received when you attempted to delete a miscellaneous purchase order from a repair order immediately after it was created. Software Issue Addressed If a miscellaneous purchase order was not tied to a parts or repair order, the Name field on the Shipping Instructions tab was populating with the customer s number instead of the customer s name. Using the VTL would allow you to select a part, but entering a part number directly into the field was not returning any results. Additionally, the fields on the form and the columns in the data grid were modified to appear in the following order: Part Number, Supplier, Description, and Quantity. SVO20000 Hard Copy Software Issue Addressed Miscellaneous information prompts with a usage of Repair Order will print on the report. Software Issue Addressed Hard copies generated through the Decisiv/MVAssist interface were blank. Page 18 of 20
19 SVO22200 Repair Order Header Maintenance Enhancement When using the Rapid Invoice feature, if the outside and inside salespeople on a repair order are the same, the program now looks to Branch Department Parameter 280 (Salesperson to Pay Commission) to determine the salesperson record paid the commission. Software Issue Addressed The program was performing a credit check every time you edited the repair order header. A credit check should only run when the repair order s dollar values change. Software Issue Addressed When a repair order was invoiced, the action for a billing adjustment labor record was changed from Adj. to O/T, even though the labor transaction was not overtime. SVO22600 Invoice Request Enhancement When the outside and inside salespeople on a repair order are the same, the program now looks to Branch Department Parameter 280 (Salesperson to Pay Commission) to determine the salesperson record paid the commission. If a point-of-sale assembly was set to print core detail on an invoice and an exchange part was added to the assembly detail, the inherent core tied to the exchange part was printing before the point-of-sale assembly on the report. The inherent core part will now print after the assembly record. SVO96000 Remote Repair Order Creation Maintenance Enhancement The application was updated for the Uptime Pro interface. Among the changes: o The For Decisiv Quotes check box in the form s header was removed and replaced by the Remote Application drop-down list. This field allows you to select the remote application used to create repair orders (i.e., <blank>, Decisiv, Uptime Pro). o The Decisiv Options tab was renamed Remote RO Options. o The Decisiv Service Network ID field was renamed Service Network ID. UNT96250 Characteristic Type Maintenance Software Issue Addressed Hyphens in the characteristic type identifier were causing issues when updating units.
