2 Founded by Walter E. Wisbey in the late 1940ʼs as specialists in surgical instrument repair, the company rapidly developed a comprehensive engineering facility. The skills developed in the medical and surgical fields were quickly utilised to design and manufacture a range of miniature illuminated inspection probes for viewing inaccessible areas, without resorting to the expense of an endoscope. This range soon grew to encompass a variety of rigid telescopic arms and mirrors, popular with customs and excise personnel for building and vehicle checks. Today NIC products are used worldwide by security, Customs and Excise Rummage Teams, Military and Police organisations. C-NIC TUM-C A robust wheeled trolley under vehicle mirror, specifically designed and developed with security personnel in mind, for searching the underside of vehicles. A large unbreakable polycarbonate mirror provides a wide angle image, illuminated by a powerful 12 volt 8 watt fluorescent tube. The T handle, which assists in tilting the mirror, is telescopic and folds away when not in use. Power is supplied by rechargeable batteries, and a charging system for 110v or 240V is included. The Safe-C incorporates a telescopic handle measuring just 20cm when shut, yet extends to 80cm when in use. An automatic on/off switch provides illumination to the mirror offering excellent vision day or night. The Safe-C mirror is compact enough to be carried in your pocket. (Accepts 2 x AAA batteries.)

3 C-NIC TIM. part no. SE NATO stock number A purpose made telescopic handle which will accept a variety of mirrors. When closed, the four section handle measures just 480mm, and will extend to a maximum length of 1.6m. A revolutionary twist and lock mechanism enables the TIM to be locked at any length. Manufactured from anodised aluminium, the TIM is the most rigid telescopic arm available. C-NIC TIM-ILL. part no. 4 THE ENDOSCOPE SEARCH KITS. Two search kits designed to aid the search of cars, buildings and vessels. Both portable, and come packed in foam lined fitted cases and include a fixed side viewing endoscope - overall diameter 12mm, working length 300mm illuminated by a powerfull 10 W halogen lamp.
