The relations between people and places, nature and built spaces, digital enviroments and manifacturing settings are primary and inspiring resources. Est operates at the edges of the disciplines of architecture and engineering in collaboration with other fields to find a new ways in place of consolidated methods and procedures. Est belives in the opportunity to involve the critical gravities of our time into his creative and manufacturing processes in a collaborative and playful way. The stubbornness in working and an unshakable optimism help us to study the past and imagine a better future. what do we make? EST is a multidisciplinary office. Our experience spans from the architectural design to structural design. EST offers graphics and 3d advanced modelling. BIM technologies and parametrics models are used for managing, in a clever way, common pratices and research projects. EST s brands are: collaboration among people and powerful immagination. 4 HONORABLE MENTION AT THE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION FOR A NEW PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE OVER THE MARTESANA RIVER. The idea wants to get easy the crossing over the naviglio for pedestrians and cyclists without creating architectonical barriers for the navigability of the stream and for all kind of users. Different forms and configurations change in reason to different users and scenarios. The arch of the bridge is divided in seven identical parts linked with hinge elements. The simultaneous movement of these elements is generated by an horizontal thrust of four hydraulic pistons. 5 EUROPIA is a researching project developed to sketch an alternative restoration of depressing areas. We imagined a re-birth of activities and public spaces. 6 Entry for the international competition Istant High School. 7 Proposal developed for the municipality of Cittadella (Padova, Italy). A geometrical revolution of a parabolic section around its own axis, sets the line and the rhythm of the walkway destined to the passage of pedestrians and riders. This revolution is influenced by a curve that fixes the maximum heigth of the bridge and parameters to not waste wild space. 9 A restoration of a degraded prefab structure for earthquake victims gets a great opportunity to analize the relations between inside and outside and vice versa. 11 Parametric modelling and rendering for a Rimini based designer. The starting point were a series of design sketch. The parametric model had to be able to update itself in reason to the length and diameter of strings.
