Deodhar He started his career with the Taj Group of Hotels, and worked their for 38 years In Taj, he gained tremendous experience on Hotel services in Planning, Designs, Installation and Operation. He has been actively involved in implementation of Energy Saving Programmes, Environmental Initiatives etc. He retired from Taj as Corporate Director of Engineering Services. Last assignment was as a Vice President Services with M/s. Chalet Hotels Ltd, hospitality Division of M/s. K Raheja Corp He is currently the Chief Advisor of AWESOME Operating Engineer s body, of Engineers from Hotels, Hospitals, Malls, etc. He is also an active Member of Indian Plumbing Association Mumbai Chapter.

24 Mr. Rahul A. Pabalkar An engineer by qualification and profession. Joined ASPA WYMAN in 1998, a venture started by Mr. Ashok Vaman Pabalkar, dealing in Air Handling Filters, Fan Coil Unit Filters, Activated Carbon Filters, Chemical Filters, Humidity absorbent filters & HEPA Filters. Engaged in Air Conditioning and filters for over 30 years catering to major food and drug manufacturers. Initiated and led the formation of 1 st ever All India Directors and Chief Engineers Association AWESOME (Academics With Excellence Spectrum of Maintenance Engineers). AWESOME has 4 chapters all over India. AWESOME currently has members in India and has also extended its operations in UAE. Trustee and National Spokesperson for AWESOME. Actively Involved as a Governing body member in ASHRAE (American Society for Heating Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers).

25 Mr. P. N. Basu He has been with the hospitality and allied industry for the last 35 years, covering varied aspects of the trade. Starting with India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) as Junior Management Trainee (New Delhi), went on to work with Mackinnon Mackenzie & Co., Bombay, a subsidiary of P & O Steamship Navigation, London, as Purser Catering and Administration. An abiding interest in hospitality brought him back on land, whence he continued to build upon professional achievements. Eventually, a passion for new horizons led him along with his colleague to launch a catering outfit servicing catering & housekeeping operations to different On shore (Land Rigs) and Off shore oil installations. After a six year stint, he returned to the hotel industry as EAM/F & B Manager of the Ritz Hotel, one of the oldest & prestigious hotels in South Mumbai. Worked as a General Manager at Comfort Inn Heritage Hotel, Fariyas Group of Hotels. Last assignment was as REGIONAL GENERAL MANAGER with INOX Leisure Ltd.

26 Mr. Pankaj Pawar He is a Bachelor in Sciences in Hotel Management from Pune University, India. He has also achieved a Specialization in Marketing & Human Resources from NASSAU University, New York. Prior to this, he was with Walt World Disney, Orlando, USA, where he gained amazing experience in Theme Park Operations & Quick Service Restaurant. He has been actively implemented Food Safety Hazard regulations under US Food Industry Law in Walt World Disney. Now, he functions in the capacity of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with M/s. ASPA Watermelon Hospitality Infrastructure Co, hospitality division of M/s. ASPA Wyman.
