Describe each layer of the TMN system and the relationship between each layer. Define the components of the Simple Network Management Protocol and illustrate how they are related. Give examples of vendor implementations of element management systems. List the functions of a network operations center. Explain the practical applications that a network management professional will need to know. Prerequisites Read, Chapter 10.
