The data center is the center of data calculation, network transmission, and storage, which integrates a range of software and hardware resources, and key service systems. Data centers typically have diversified environments that integrate different types of services. Network management requirements are complex: Infrastructure: Data center management tools must be integrated. Fault Management A comprehensive network management system helps customers monitor the network for faults and, when a fault does occur, it provides information on possible causes and fault location. The network management system has the following features: Provides alarms for all types of faults, including IP, IT, and service faults. Provides 24/7 fault monitoring, real-time fault notification, and remote fault notification. Switches between fault, topology, and device panel views quickly on the graphical interface. Categorizes and suppresses alarms to reduce the number of alarms displayed on the graphical interface. 2. Configuration Management The intelligent configuration tool delivers configurations based on profiles and planning tables to network devices and verifies commands. Configurations are delivered in batches to help customers efficiently deploy services. This tool has the following features: Smart configuration tool: Pre-defined service configuration profiles are used. Users can choose a profile to configure network devices. The planning table lists configuration differences between devices. Configuration file management: Configuration files for multiple devices can be backed up, compared, and restored. The backup function includes on demand backup, periodic backup, and backup triggered by device configuration changes. Adaptive configuration audit: Device configurations and health status can be checked on demand or periodically. The tool can automatically adapt to equipment from different vendors, device types, and versions. Audit results can be displayed based on subnets, devices, or rules. Customized system portal and device portal pages: Users can customize portal pages to acquire specific information. 7 The IP&IT management functions include: Comprehensive device management: In addition to Huawei routers, switches, AR, security devices, and WLAN devices, esight can manage devices from major vendors such as HP(H3C) and Cisco. It can also manage IT resources such as servers and printers. Third-party device customization: esight allows users to define vendor names, device types, panel styles, performance presentations, and alarms for third-party devices. Various open interfaces: esight provides APIs to integrate with third-party devices. The northbound interfaces connect to the upper-layer OSS. This interconnection mode allows esight to connect to the virtual platforms of major vendors. Third-party devices can be managed on the graphical interface provided by esight. Network element adaptation package: esight can easily match different devices. Visual Management esight provides diagrams and tables to help users understand network status and quality in multiple dimensions. esight provides network topologies and service views to facilitate service deployments and network configurations. The visual management functions include: Topology management: esight provides the physical topology and IP topology view, which graphically display network devices at different layers.
