2 Why this workshop? The term startup has become the buzzword of the latest times. The government has been taking a host of impressive initiatives to promote and develop the idea of startups. Various incentives and concessions are being provided to facilitate the growth of startups. The idea is to provide an environment where the startups thrive and contribute to the development of the nation. Startups can only be remunerative if planned accordingly. Right from financials to the product development, everything should be planned to the T. Without a well-structured plan for the amount of finance required, the source of the finance, the appropriate valuation of the startup and evaluation of the progress of the startup, the startups may not flourish. This requires proper understanding of the requirements of a startup. This workshop focuses primarily on the valuation and financial perspective. By attending this course, the participants will get a skeletal idea as to what are the necessary elements required to be understood and focused upon by startup generators and financers.
