2 Information on listed companies across the globe Osiris has extremely comprehensive information on listed, major unlisted and delisted companies around the world. Different templates show accounts in appropriate formats for their company type and location and you can also choose to see them in comparable formats for peer analyses. Osiris also includes complementary data including news, M&A deals and corporate structures. Coverage We aim to include all publicly listed companies on Osiris. We also include delisted companies and major unlisted companies if they re significant within their sector. Osiris covers around 70,000 companies across the globe. Corporate structures Osiris includes our bespoke corporate structures. We compile these in-house at BvD from information sourced from local information providers, stock exchanges, published sources and direct contact with companies. Range of reports Osiris has companies financials in various formats so you can look at individual companies in depth as well as compare companies across borders. Companies, banks and insurance companies all have their own detailed formats that account for variations in their financial structures. The financial reports range from summaries, to standardised reports, to raw data. You can click on financial lines to see how a financial item is derived from the more detailed accounts. Osiris also includes accounts as they were originally filed or presented in companies annual reports. Scope Comparability One of Osiris main strengths is that you can compare companies against each other using the harmonised financial reports. Searching and analyses Osiris offers a multitude of search criteria so you can do very specific searches and analyses. You can create your own variables to include in your searches, do time series searching, use the integral analysis software or use Osiris in conjunction with our more advanced analysis options including our Excel and PowerPoint Add-Ins. In addition to financial accounts Osiris covers a wealth of complementary information including ratings, earnings estimates, news, industry research, royalty data, corporate actions, stock data, corporate structures and economic backgrounds.

3 The reports and the information they contain Financial information The financials are sourced from a number of expert companies. Banks and insurance companies are in specific formats. Other formats include: global standard, global detailed, spreadsheet, raw data, plus other providerspecific formats. Cash flow statements and segment data are also available. The reports have a section dedicated to the company s financial strength. It contains independent financial models from four specialist companies: VADIS, MORE Ratings, Zanders and CRIF. The models have been specifically created to work with the financial data on our products and are exclusive to us. A pre-defined Comparison Report gives you an immediate comparison of a company against its peers. Stock data Security and price information, current and annual stock data, current and annual stock valuation, monthly, weekly and daily pricing series all provided by Exchange Data International (EDI). Earnings estimates, broker recommendations and reports Factset provides financial forecasts, detailed estimates and additional estimates. Recommendations are provided by Factset and Morningstar. Morningstar also provides equity research reports.
