6 Applications for this scholarship are not accepted. Scholarships are awarded by the Dean on the basis of academic performance and financial need. Stephen & Marie Burg & Family Scholarship (2070) Provides support for junior or senior level students in the School of Technology with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. Applicants shall show evidence of outstanding academic and career potential. Financial need may be considered at the discretion of the faculty. J. Thomas Gugerty Scholarship (2410) [Industrial or Engineering Technology] Provides scholarship support for full-time matriculated undergraduate students majoring in industrial or engineering technology at CCSU with a minimum of 30 hours of earned academic credit and a minimum 2.75 cumulative grade point average. Financial need may be considered at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee. Northrop Grumman Scholarship (2590) Provides support for junior or senior students in the School of Engineering and Technology based on scholastic achievement and character. James A. & Mary Hayes Lord Scholarship (2640) Provides scholarship support for full-time juniors or seniors in the School of Education and Professional Studies and the School of Engineering and Technology at Central Connecticut State University who have a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average. Applicants in the School of Education and Professional Studies shall be accepted to the Professional Program leading to certification as a precondition for eligibility. Raymond D. & Ellen N. Martinsen Scholarship (2670) Provides support for students in any technology major in good academic standing who present evidence of financial need. Duffy Family Scholarship (4180) Provides support for continuing students in the School of Technology who show evidence of outstanding academic and career potential, or incoming first-year students with high academic achievement. Financial need may be considered at the discretion of the faculty. Several of the listed scholarships have more than one award and all values are based on CCSU Foundation earnings averaged over the previous five years.
