4 Loaded with Standard Features High Performance is not the only facet of API s industry leading Switched Filter Banks. Another important element that sets us apart is features. Loaded with standard features, our proven designs are engineered for demanding performance in both high-end commercial applications as well as military markets. Channelized Manifolds Switch manifolds are channelized to obtain maximum channel-to-channel isolation. Multiple Control Interfaces We incorporate multiple interface options from and CMOS to RS-3, utilizing EMI pins, D-Sub and Micro-D connectors. Reverse and Over Voltage Protection Our switched filter banks use multiple protection circuits including high performance Schottky diodes to prevent damage in a harsh application environment.

6 The Filter Specialists Versatility is a hallmark that separates API Technologies from other filter companies. Choosing from a wide assortment of topologies including lumped element, cavity, ceramic, SAW, tubular, suspended substrate, and waveguide our engineers match the optimum topology to your requirements. Unlike other filter companies, API continues to prove that by offering multiple options, a customer can weigh the benefits of: size vs. loss, rejection vs. size, selectivity vs. group delay...and select the perfect filter to optimize system performance and value. High Quality Ceramic Filters Although we can provide many standard finishes, we prefer to use gold plating on our surface mount packages offering better solderability, conductivity and corrosion resistance than more common finishes. Low Loss Tubular Filters In order to achieve the lowest loss possible, we choose to use silver plating during extreme Low Loss applications. Temperature Compensated API Technologies has frequently designed and manufactured cavity filters with temperature drifts of less than 1 ppm/ C.
7 Suspended Substrate Integrating suspended substrate topologies with lumped and distributed elements provide enhanced unloaded Q and small size in one design. Creative Lumped Element Designs Utilizing sophisticated software such as Sonnet EM Simulatore and SolidWorks, creative layouts can be realized to optimize package size and electrical performance. Superior Group Delay SAW Filters Our proprietary SAW filter design technologies provide superior Group Delay Matching Performance with minimal signal distortion.
