10 Course Introduction American University Transfer Program (AUTP) The American University Transfer Program (AUTP) is a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in American Liberal Arts courses at the American Center for Education (ACE) in Singapore. The American Liberal Arts courses are directly modeled on classes offered at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (UWRF). Your Pathway from Singapore to an American University Leading to an American Bachelor s Degree ACE provides you with an excellent study platform that will give you a good start along your higher educational pathway. The American Liberal Arts Program is especially tailored for Asian students, and focuses on helping Asian high school graduates to make the transition from their senior high school studies to a higher learning environment. This program prepares Asian students to continue their studies at an American university after studying at ACE. The you a passport to a world-class American university education at the University of Wisconsin River Falls (UWRF) or the University of Wisconsin price. After the students successfully complete their studies at ACE, they can transfer to UWRF or UWM to begin the second stage. The second stage consists of at least 24 months of study in the United States at the UWRF campus or the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) campus. 13 Course Introduction UW Gateways College Program Your pathway to a bachelor s degree from all university campuses of the University of Wisconsin System The UW Gateways College Program is a great way for international students to achieve their dreams of earning a bachelor s degree in the prestigious University of Wisconsin System in the United States of America. Established by an agreement between the University of Wisconsin Colleges in the USA and the American Center for Education (ACE) in Singapore, the UW Gateways College excellent pathway towards a university degree from one of the outstanding university campuses within the University of Wisconsin System, which includes the world-famous University of Wisconsin - Madison. UW Gateways Program Participant Selection Criteria Students enrolled in the UW Gateways College program will begin with one year of academic instruction at the ACE campus in Singapore. Students with qualifying English scores (TOEFL 61 IBT, or IELTS 5.5) will earn up to 30 UW Colleges credits in Singapore before transferring to a UW Colleges campus to complete their Associate of Arts and Science degree. Students who complete their associate degree with a GPA of 2.8 or higher will be guaranteed transfer to the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where they can complete their bachelor s degrees. Students with at least a 2.0 GPA will be guaranteed transfer to any of the other 12 four-year University of Wisconsin campuses. Students who choose not to study in the U.S will have the option of completing their UW Colleges associate degree at ACE.
