2 NRHA Germany s Easter Show the Perfect Start into the 2015 Show Season NRHA Germany s Easter Show is the traditional season s opening of each reining year in Germany. This year, 183 riders and almost 300 horses from all over Europe are present at the beautiful facility of Kreuth, which is altogether 821 entries. More entries simply were not possible, that s why the NRHA show office had to close the classes of this year on Monday night already: All classes are full no late entries possible any more. NRHA Million Dollar Rider Rudi Kronsteiner wins Jackpot Open The first class of this year s Easter show was the Jackpot Open with 117 entries. A lot of Open riders used this class for schooling their horses. The winner was Austrian NRHA Million Dollar Rider and mulitple NRHA Breeders Futurity Champion Rudi Kronsteiner who rode Steppin With Class (Wimpys Little Step x Sassys Classy Chic,) to a score of for owner Sophia Lukacikova. Steppin With Class was 2012 AustrianRHA Futurity Champion Level 1 Open and Reserve Champion Level 2 Open with Miroslav Baniari in the saddle. The stallion was bred by Mary F. Griffith. Rudi also managed to claim second place honors aboard Wound Up Whiz ( owner Vanessa Sauer) scoring a NRHA Million Dollar Rider Cody Sapergia aboard Sabine Lisec s and Chuck Klipfel s Made In Walla and Marco de Piccoli aboard Reto Erdin s One Smart Wallawalla tied for third place scoring a each. A good start info the season for Rudi Kronsteiner, who already claimed the Bockmann Reining Cup at Equitana two wees ago aboard Whizoom (picture).

3 Novice Horse Non Pro Champion: Verena Scholl and LV Scater Boy In the Novice Horse Non Pro, Austrian Verena Scholl and her LV Scater Boy claimed the title scoring 140 in a field of 75..Christine Daurer aboard Illbe Revolution and Heike Strambach aboard Hot Spicy Whiz tied for secons place honors scoring a each. LV Scater Boy was bred by Long View Ranch. He is a 10-year-old stallion by Gerold Dautzenberg s Tejons Little Johnny out of the Taris Catalyst-mare Lady Catalyst. With this horse, Verena Scholl won the 2014 Saddle Trophy Bayern Mitte scoring a respectable and the Jackpot Non Pro at the 2014 NRHA Breeders Derby. Verena Scholl started her rider s career in an English saddle. Since 2003, she trains with Morey Fisk. Her achievements include the 2003 Rookie of the Year title and the 2004 FEQHA European Champion Reining Youth.

He is a 10-year-old stallion by Gerold Dautzenberg s Tejons Little Johnny out of the Taris Catalyst-mare Lady Catalyst.

4 Sylvia Rzepka and Gunners Blue Smoke dominate Ladies Class The winner of the Ladies was Sylvia Rzepka who scored a 141 aboard Gunners Blue Smoke (Colonels Smoking Gun x Shes Smoke King) in a field of 37. Astrid Rensmann and USS Whiz (owner Andre Saphorster) placed sdecond scoring a 139 with Susann Lamm and her JP By A Whizker following on third place (138.5). The 6-year-old AQHA mare Gunners Blue Smoke is owned by Lotte Sorensen. Sylvia won the Novice Horse Open with her at the 2014 AustrianRHA Futurity.

5 CRI on Easter Sunday: First Qualifier for the FEI EC at Aachen The last classes of the 2015 Easter show will be the CRI*** for Seniors, Juniors and Young Riders on Easter Sunday. They will also be the first qualifier for the 2015 FEI European Championships at Aachen (Seniors) resp. Givrins (Juniors / Young Riders) In the Senior Division, there are 19 entries from Germany, Austria and Denmark FEI EC Bronze winner Grischa Ludwig will ride three horses, Oliver Stein, Mona Dorr and Verena Klein as well as Austrians Anna Lisec and Klaus Lechner will ride two horses each. In the Junior division, there will be eleven riders from Germany, in the Young Riders division five including Jody Beenhakker from the Netherlands.
