1 Faculty of Agriculture and Festry Transatlantic Masters Degree Program in Fest Resources (ATLANTIS) University of Helsinki, Department of Fest Sciences Transatlantic Masters Degree Program in Fest Resources (ATLANTIS) Degree requirements in Fest Ecology and Management, 120 ECTS Degree requirements in Fest Economics and Marketing, 120 ECTS General infmation The Atlantis is a two-year dual Master degree programme ganised by the University of Helsinki (), Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Nth Carolina State University () and Michigan Technological University () in which students spend one semester in Finland and in Sweden and two semesters in USA. Upon graduation, the students of Transatlantic Master's Degree Program in Fest Resources will receive two degrees, the Finnish M.Sc. (Agr.&F.) and a degree from depending on maj. Graduates of the programme possess professional knowledge, language and intercultural communication skills invaluable f successful careers in international environments. Degree Structure The duration of the Transatlantic Degree programme is two academic years with a full wkload cresponding to 120 ECTS (1 US crh is 3,3 ECTS). The programme consists of general studies (15 ECTS), maj subject studies (90 ECTS) and electives (15 ECTS). The programme consists of three basic components: one semester at SLU (30 ECTS); one semester at (30 ECTS); a full academic year (two semesters) at either (60 ECTS equals 18 US graded credit hours).
