11 PIM Recipe Het Programma Innovatieve Media (PIM) groepeert in essentie twee bestaande IWT-steunprogramma s (het luik collectief onderzoek en het luik coöperatief onderzoek), zij het elk met hierna beschreven eigenheden, t.b.v. de creatieve industrie. Eigenheden van het luik collectief onderzoek binnen het PIM t.o.v. VIS- Collectief onderzoek in het algemeen 1. een permanent open indienkanaal, 2. een verruiming van de aanvaardbare onderzoeksactiviteiten, 3. geen (budgettaire) competitie met projecten uit andere domeinen, 4. het aanvragend consortium kan eveneens uitvoerder zijn, 5. een gebruikersgroep/stuurgroep bestaande uit een representatieve vertegenwoordiging van de beoogde doelgroep en van de Overheid, die instaat niet alleen voor de opvolging maar ook voor de sturing van het project. 11
