3 1 Active Person Profile (APP) Definition An Active Person Profile (APP) is a distinct record stored within the INX database. The profile can be created against a person, or against a company (or any other entity), and may or may not have an associated network login assigned to it. Profiles can be inactivated through the user interface or by integration scripts. The APP count does exclude Inactive records (i.e. ceased / terminated / no longer used). Inactive records are accessible and can be re-activated if required. APP s are counted once, irrespective of the number of modules of INX in use. Person (employee, contractor, visitor etc.) Active Person Profile (APP) Company or Equipment Other Entity 2 Active Person Profile (APP) Licensing The license fees payable by clients are based on the number of APPs being managed by the system at any time using a corporate, centralised database model. Upon exceeding this number an additional license upgrade fee, and increase in the Annual Maintenance fee, will be payable in accordance with the APP Band Table. You can find your licensed APP size on your accepted INX proposal or by contacting us at sales@inxsoftware.com or (08) APP ,000 etc Licensed Current Upgrade 3 Assessing Current Active Person Profiles (APP) In order to determine whether you require a license upgrade, we recommend the following; Assess Current APP Assess the APP within your database and decide if this reflects your organisations true size. Database Clean Up^ Clean up your database or request assistance from the INX Professional Services team. APP License Upgrade* If the APP is a true reflection of your organisations current size simply request an APP upgrade. ^Organisations will have a period of 14 days from the date of receiving the notice to clean up their database * Special Offer: Receive 20% off for upgrades completed before 30th May, 10% before 30th June and 5% before 30th July [3]
4 3.1 Assessing Current APP (All INX except InFlight) and Cleaning your Database 1. Log in to INX either from a direct link, company home page or SharePoint. 2. Select any of your available modules from the list (InControl has been selected in this example see next section for how this is done in INX InFlight). [4]
5 3. Assuming you have granted security access (e.g. Moderator, Administrator or System Administrator) click on the People menu item and hit the refresh button under the filter options. 4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page where the total number of people will be displayed (in this case 446). 5. If this figure exceeds your current Active Person Profile (APP) license band (e.g , ) you can do one of the following: Make individuals inactive Clean up your people database by making select users Inactive via the Active checkbox through their Personal Profile page as highlighted below: Request assistance Contact INX Software at or (08) and request assistance in cleaning your database for a small service fee. Request upgrade - Contact INX Software at sales@inxsoftware.com or (08) and request an upgrade to the relevant APP band (e.g , , 800-1,000 etc.). [5]

Select the InFlight module (assuming you have purchased it) 3. Assuming you have granted security access (e.g. Moderator, Administrator or System Administrator) click on the People menu item and hit the refresh button under the filter options. [6]
7 4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page where the total number of people will be displayed (in this case 472). 5. If this figure exceeds your current Active Person Profile (APP) license band (e.g , ) you can do one of the following: Make individuals inactive one by one - Clean up your people database by making select users Inactive via the Active checkbox through their Personal Profile page as highlighted below: Make individuals inactive in bulk - Assuming you have granted security access (e.g. Administrator or System Administrator), click on the Administration menu item and scroll down to (or search for) Group Maintenance. Request assistance Contact INX Software at sales@inxsoftware.com or (08) and request assistance in cleaning your database for a small service fee. Request upgrade - Contact INX Software at sales@inxsoftware.com or (08) and request an upgrade to the relevant APP band (e.g , , 800-1,000 etc.). [7]
