Question: The drawings do not indicate demolition of the scoreboard footing or footings. Is that demolition required? If so can a footing and size and depth be assumed and furnished for bid purposes along with task specific unit pricing for contract adjustment? Answer: The Construction Documents have been revised to describe the scoreboard demolition as follows, Existing scoreboard (to be removed Alternate #4 only). Cut steel posts 12 below grade at concrete footing, fill remaining steel posts with sand, and backfill holes as specified. 2. Question: Have specification sections and been re-issued. Addendum #1 includes pages 244 and 247 only. Answer: Addendum #1 only included sheets that had revisions on them. However, due to extensive revisions, Addendum #2 will re-issue Section Chain Link Fences and Gates. 3. Question: Other than disturbed area mulching are any area requiring sod or grassing? There is nothing shown on drawings yet there is a unit price. Answer: Currently there are no areas that will require sodding by the contractor. However, sod was included in unit prices to give the Auburn University Project Engineer the option to require the contractor to sod an area no larger than the quantity specified by the unit price at no additional cost to Auburn University. 4. All fencing RFIs are addressed in revised Technical Specifications in Project Manual. The Contractor, shall therefore, include in his Lump Sum Base and / or Alternates Bid (as applicable), an allowance for the following items in the quantities indicated: Allowance UNIT Prices include all charges for labor, materials and equipment, shoring, layout, supervision (field and home office), general expenses, taxes, insurances, overhead and profit, but not limited to, for accomplishment of the Allowance item(s). 8 SPECIAL CONDITIONS 1. TIME OF COMPLETION Work in this contract shall be substantially completed within 60 calendar days of the date stated in the Notice to Proceed. 2. WORKING HOURS Working hours within the existing track fenced area will be normal business hours ending at 3:00 p.m. CST. Night and weekend work within the existing track fenced area will not be allowed. 3. LAYDOWN AREA Contractor is to minimize on-site material storage as much as possible. If required, the lay down area will be located on the track so as not to block more than half the width of the track in the area under construction. 4. RAIN DAY CLASS: The rain day classification for this project is Class III due to the minimal effect of a rain event on this type of project. See the Supplemental General Conditions section in this manual for more information. 5. BUILDER S RISK INSURANCE: Contractor is responsible for providing Builder s Risk Insurance. Contractor has 24 hours after Bid Opening to provide a reasonable DRAFT of all applicable insurance certificate documents. 6. ADEM PERMITTING An ADEM permit will not be required due to the minimal amount of land disturbance involved in the scope of this project. 7. PROJECT SIGN No project sign is required. 8. MILESTONES If Alternate #2 is taken, all work associated with this alternate shall be complete before January 9, 2013.

Erosion-Resistant Anchoring Cement: Factory-packaged, nonshrink, nonstaining, hydrauliccontrolled expansion cement formulation for mixing with potable water at Project site to create pourable anchoring, patching, and grouting compound. Provide formulation that is resistant to erosion from water exposure without needing protection by a sealer or waterproof coating and that is recommended in writing by manufacturer, for exterior applications. PART 3 - EXECUTION 3.1 INSTALLATION A. Examine areas and conditions, with Installer present, for compliance with requirements for a verified survey of property lines and legal boundaries, site clearing, earthwork, pavement work, and other conditions affecting performance of the Work. 1. Do not begin installation before final grading is completed unless otherwise permitted by Architect. B. Proceed with installation only after unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected. C.
