1 PUBLIC NOTICE CALLING APPLICATIONS FOR APPEARING IN ALL INDIA TRADE TEST- JULY, 2012 AS PRIVATE CANDIDATES Applications in prescribed form are invited from eligible candidates desirous of appearing as Private Candidates in the All India Trade Test scheduled to be held in July 2012 under the aegis of National Council for Vocational Training and State Council for Vocational Training. Successful candidates will be certified by NCVT / SCVT. Candidates working in Delhi / New Delhi situated establishments Implementing Apprenticeship Training Scheme / Small Establishments and shops covered under Factories Act or registered with any Government/ Local Authorities, having minimum three years experience in the relevant trade on full time basis after obtaining the minimum prescribed qualification depending on the trade, as laid down for a particular trade and those who have successfully undergone and passed the prescribed trade test under SCVT, Delhi will only be eligible for consideration. The prescribed application form along with instructions / guidelines are available on the Department s website i.e. Desirous eligible candidates may submit their candidature on the prescribed application form along with requisite fee of Rs. 250/- in the form of Demand Draft favoring DDO, Department of Training & Technical Education, Delhi on any working day from 10:00 A.M. to 04:00 P.M. w.e.f. 7 th May The duly completed applications in all respect will be accepted at the Examination Branch till 18 th May 2012 up to 4:00 P.M. at Room No. 207-A, Examination Branch, Training wing, Department of Training & Technical Education, Muni Maya Ram Marg, Near T.V. 5 GOVERNMENT OF NCT OF DELHI DEPARTMENT OF TRAINING AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION MUNI MAYA RAM MARG, PITAM PURA, DELHI INSTRUCTIONS / GUIDELINES FOR APPLICANT Note : Application form is meant for registration as PRIVATE CANDIDATES who desires to appear in the designated trades under NCVT, Government of India in the ensuing All India Trade Test July, 2012and for trades under SCVT being conducted by State Council of Vocational Training, Government of Delhi. 1. Candidates, who are working continuously till date for minimum three years in the Industry/Institute/Organization in relevant field, based in Delhi are eligible to apply. 2. The candidates who have successfully completed the full time course having the same nomenclature of trade, duration and same curriculum at par with NCVT and are being certified under SCVT are also eligible for appearing as private candidates to get the certificate under NCVT. 3. Candidates must have the minimum prescribed qualification awarded by a recognized examination body required essential for the trade applied. The experience acquired after the minimum prescribed qualification will only be considered. 4. Only one trade is to be mentioned in column No Candidates must have attained a minimum age of 21 years as on at the time of applying in case if candidates appearing as PRIVATE CANDIDATE who have not obtained any formal certification under SCVT.. 6. A passport size photograph duly attested by a gazette Officer must be affixed on space given in the application form and two unattested photographs attached separately. 7. One self addressed envelope of size 4 x 10 affixed with postal stamps worth Rs.5.00 should be submitted along with the application. 8. Application must be on given application form and duly signed by employer with stamp, specifying the post held and giving details of current pay period of employment, nature of work etc. 9. No column should be left blank. In complete application will be summarily rejected. 10. Column No. 10 of the application form is to be filled by the Employer. In case of departmental candidates separate pro-forma is also provided along with form and to be filled and signed by the HOO of the candidate. 11. Person working in Central Govt. / State Govt./Undertaking/Institute must get their application forwarded from the competent authority of their administrative department. 12. Applications with overwriting and alteration in certificates will be rejected. 13. Copies of certificates i.e. Educational Qualification, Experience, Age, Mark sheet, Transfer certificate from Board/ School etc. duly attested, must be enclosed with the application form. 14. Merely applying for appearing as Private Candidate does not give the right to the applicant for appearing in the preliminary screening examination. 15. If any information on the basis of which applicant secured permission to appear as Private Candidate is found to be false, or tampered at any stage, the candidate will be debarred for appearing in the trade test and issue of National Trade Certificate will be withheld even if he/she appears in examination and passes the examination. 16. A Non Refundable fee of Rs. 250/- is to be deposited in the form of Demand Draft / Banker s Cheque in favour of DDO, DTTE while submitting the application. The name of the candidate and trade applied must be written on the reverse of DD etc. 17. Documents submitted with the application will not be returned. 18. No correspondence shall be entertained during the processing of the application. 19. The candidates are advised to submit only the first three pages.
