Apply safety rules, regulations, and procedures for the Aviation Technology program, including safety concerns in the areas of first aid, fire, electricity, equipment, and personnel protective equipment (PPE). Explain the theory of flight, including Bernoulli s principles of gasses leading to airfoils; describing the relationship between pressure and rate of flow of a liquid through an orifice; describing the relationship of air velocity and pressure of the upper surface of an airfoil; describing the effect of atmospheric temperature and humidity on airfoil lift.
