4 Levels of Care & Service Independent Living Independent living is for older adults who value convenience and security in a comfortable social environment. Additional services may include housekeeping or assistance with daily tasks. Assisted Living Sometimes called housing with services, assisted living is designed for those who need extra assistance performing daily activities but don t require round-the-clock skilled nursing care. This option allows individuals to maintain their independence while receiving the assistance they need. Care Suites / Enhanced Assisted Living Care suites combine apartment living with twenty-four-hour care for those who need more comprehensive or intensive care than they can find in traditional assisted living settings. Care Center / Skilled Nursing Services Skilled nursing serves those whose medical needs require round-the-clock care. Nurses, therapists, dieticians and other professionals help sustain physical and emotional health for residents. Memory Care For individuals experiencing cognitive changes, memory care provides a community focused on maximizing residents skills and abilities while imparting a sense of purpose and success. Memory care may be offered in a skilled nursing setting or assisted living environment. Transitional Care / Short-Term Rehabilitation Transitional care offers a bridge between hospital and home where individuals recovering from illness or injury can have the time they need to heal. Rooms may be reserved in advance of a scheduled procedure. Adult Day Services Day programs offer supportive communities that welcome and respect the contributions and traditions of older adults while promoting their well-being. Family members can find respite knowing loved ones are in a safe, supportive environment.
