The Apple Valley branch provides two patron access terminals with Westlaw and Lexis. The Northern Service Center in West St. Paul provides one patron access terminal with Loislaw. The law library also provides VersusLaw on the public computers at all Dakota County public libraries. Online resources available include state and federal statutes, case law for state and federal jurisdictions, federal and state agency rules, and court rules. Subject treatments are available for research in the areas of tax, probate, misdemeanors, family law, bankruptcy, environment, employment, personal injury, business litigation, real estate and various areas of legal practice and procedure.
