3 EUREKA - EXECUTIVE SUMMARY INTRODUCTION Students around the world would enjoy watching 3D animated movies and simulations to understand difficult subjects of Science and Mathematics. This changes the traditional classroom chalk and talk approach and adds value to ICT beyond imagination. E-Learning is one of the important aspects identified by education bodies all over world. Education System all over the world emphasizes on Science & Maths as challenging subjects because of difficult concepts to understand. Since, seeing is believing, the 3D animations help the child to grasp these complex concepts with ease. The advent of Computer Aided Learning (CAL) is evolving towards child centric learning and retention. EUREKA - THE CHAMPION E - LEARNING SOFTWARE Designmate has converted entire school text books into colourful 3D animated movies with interactive games, simulations and puzzles called EUREKA. It is running successfully in over 3000 private schools in nine countries including India, United States, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and U.A.E. This helps the teachers to prepare a lesson plan and select graded topics depending on level of class. Customised lesson plans are facilitated by inserting links in their presentations for immediate access to the various 3-D animated topics during the class. STUDENTS: Students have easy access to EUREKA when connected to LAN facilitating child centric teaching/ learning. 100 client machines can simultaneously access and play the same or 100 different topics without any loss of quality. Students are able to study, research, interact and revise through educational games and puzzles. State of the Art, Metadata technique enables a user to access any of the 2000 topics in just 3 clicks.
