Video Walls are increasing in popularity and are commonly being used in stores, restaurants, hospitality, airports and the leisure industry to achieve that all important wow factor by projecting images and content on a large and impressive scale. The Solution. The Acquire VideoWall solution has been created with creativity in mind to ensure that it provides an eye-catching experience at a cost-effective price. There are three styles of video wall function available using Acquire, all of which ensure that the end result is going to create maximum impact. The Acquire VideoWall solution gives you the ability to create video walls that are truly unique and attention grabbing by creating a canvas of screens playing fully synchronised content. Unlike traditional video walls where screens are laid out in a 4x4 or 8x8 configuration the canvas allows you to create any shape or arrangement of screens. Even when used in a small space, this canvas capability can have a greater impact than a similarly sized screen alone. Also, interaction through touch, gesture and sensors is also an important feature that many wish to integrate to add to the immersive customer experience. Page 2.

3 Option 1. Use a single player device with multiple output. Our high-powered player technology enables you to use up to 4 x HD outputs for the playback of your content, which in turn can be output to video wall capable screens to create square or rectangular videowalls. Although the cost can be cheaper than the other methods, the content is always stretched for playback over the screens and is not ideal when viewers are close to the screens. Create your content in HD. Use the Acquire Page Editor to position your current on-screen. View your large format videowall. Option 2. Use multiple player devices as a canvas. Simply install an Acquire VideoWall player on a PC connected to each screen. The layout of the screens can be in any format and size and are not restricted in arrangement. HD content is then stretched over the screens to create an interesting playback media. Design your canvas layout in the designer. Create your content in HD. Position your content & stretch it over as many screens as you wish. View your videowall canvas. Option 3. Use multiple player devices as a Canvas with custom content. As with Option 2, simply install an Acquire Videowall player on a PC connected to each screen. The layout of the screens can be in any format and size (not restricted to square/rectangular layouts and can also incorporate videowall screens). The design and layout of the screens can then be supplied to your content creators and individual HD videos made for playback on each screen for the highest quality and impact of playback. Canvas layouts create interesting shapes and patterns for playback of content. Design your canvas layout in the designer. 4 Technical Features. Achieving Full HD. Most video wall configurations are set up as 1 large homogenous screen meaning that the content is stretched to fit the large dimensions of the screen resulting in low quality content which can often appear pixelated when viewed at a close distance. Acquire VideoWalls work by managing the content on the seperate screens, and operating them independently. Content is therefore displayed on seperate screens to make up a complete, overall image. The image is not therefore stretched or reduced in quality. Intelligent System. The Acquire VideoWall solution also allows you to create innovative and unique screen configurations which can be made up of a mixture of screens positioned in any orientation. Screens can also be scattered across wall space to create more eye catching displays. Using the inbuilt configuration tool Acquire intelligently identifies which part of the overall image needs to be displayed and on what screen. Frame Accurate Synchronisation. Each of the screens used within the Acquire VideoWall solution run independently to ensure that high quality content and unique configurations can be achieved. However, Acquire also includes inbuilt Frame Accurate Synchronisation technologies to manage accurately synched playback across the entire video wall. Authoring Environment. The Acquire VideoWall solution uses a powerful Editor Suite for initial setup and design. This incorporates a number of tools to enable you to design the canvas layout, then position and schedule the content, whilst incorporating other features such as live feeds and triggers (Kinect, Camera, Touchscreen, and more) to get your audience to react to the content. It also includes support tools and features to update the content on the remote Acquire VideoWall Players. If you plan to have multiple users operating it, you can also choose to utilise our Acquire2go web-based content management system for ease of use and access when updating the content. Page 4.

5 Automatic Monitoring and Support. We understand that most installations will be remote, so updates need to happen smoothly and systems need to keep operating. With our optional PLUS! Network technology, we can provide you with the reassurance you need that your displays are operating smoothly. The Acquire VideoWall Player incorporates auto-recovery features and built-in secure network connectivity to equip you with real-time alerts, remote device monitoring and control. With instant notification of any issues, you can resolve them straightaway from a remote PC to minimise any potential downtime. You can also make remote changes to your content, playlists and play back schedule. PLUS! Network. The PLUS! Network is available as a managed service or you can purchase the server software and host it yourself. It provides fast, secure and reliable content delivery to your remotely installed Players via any TCP/IP based network. It also provides an intergrated alert and support management platform with remote access of the players. Clients usually utilise our managed PLUS! Network service as it is hosted across the world in many secure, high availability data centres with automatic failover and support included. For clients requiring private networks (eg APN, WAN), an EDGE server is available or a private server cloud can be purchased for hosting within a network. Features.
