5 World c rude oil price s Energy Storage Individual transport and impact on grid-based energy carriers To develop energy storage systems as essential part of intelligent energyefficient buildings and cities, integrate intermittent renewable energy sources efficiently, and enable energy services such as load managment, peak shaving, pow er quality and uninterruptible pow er supply.
