Director, International Wireless Soltions Company GCC Case stdy 1 Or Cstomer - a highly prominent Wireless Operator in the Glf - had difficlties filling 30 open positions within their Technical Department. The roles in qestion ranged from RF Engineers to Core Network Planning Specialists. An rgent soltion was needed as the positions needed to be filled within a 6 week time frame. Tangent immediately pt together a bespoke Recritment Campaign which offered 3 key advantages to the Cstomer: (1) Rapid identification of candidates (2) Flly-Managed bespoke Service (3) Highly-efficient 3-phased interview process. A team of five Senior Tangent Recriters was pt together and travelled to 3 Soth East Asian contries in the space of 2 weeks, accompanied by representatives of this Operator (HR and Technical). The interview ronds were an instant sccess, and Tangent ended p placing 10 more specialists than originally reqested by the Cstomer, for a total of 40 engineers. The sccess of this operation rested in Tangent s ability to (1) very qickly offer a bespoke managed service, (2) ability to qickly identify a sitable candidate pool (3) ability to deploy the recritment process internationally with diligent ease. The exercise also offered a highly attractive volme discont scheme which benefited the cstomer. On the back of this sccessfl operation, Tangent was again approached 6 months later by the same Cstomer to condct another Recritment Campaign, this time reqesting 35 placements for a different Department. GCC Case stdy 2 Or Cstomer, a major player in the Lxry and Consmer goods sector decided to develop its local presence from a new base in Dbai. Tangent were selected as the exclsive spplier for Senior Management and Technical Resorce for this initiative (having worked with the cstomer sccessflly before). Over an 18 month period Tangent has managed to sccessflly recrit all of the key roles and remains the exclsive spplier for onward recritment across not only the GCC, bt for the rest of Middle East, and Africa. Tangent s sccess is based pon a genine nderstanding of the cstomers reqirements bilt from reglar face to face briefings, and the virtal bench research methods employed by or resorcing teams. By working with or cstomer to develop a bespoke recriting system that works time and again for them, we have recrited an entire management team, saved them significant amont of time, and have almost eradicated the instances of candidate loss throgh conter offers.
