2 Abot the The enables the rapid transition of managers into self-directed leaders throgh a combination of two learning phases delivered across six months. The program commences with the Accelerated Learning Phase, an intensive six week period that eqips participants with the knowledge and behavioral insights reqired for sccessfl leadership. The program then moves into the Action, Reflection & Mastery Phase, an eighteen week focs on embedding and fnctionalising new learnings as real world behavior and action. Informed by global best practice in applied and accelerated learning, the focs on real otcomes as an ongoing and non-negotiable component of the program nderpins the emergence of a self-directed, decisive leader. All facets of the program are geared toward the singlar objective of informing and nlocking excellence real otcomes, elevated performance in the work setting. Whilst the program generates exceptional otcomes across wide ranging levels of management it is primarily designed for optimal impact at two levels: Emerging and high potential women managers seeking to fast track their leadership development. Existing women managers seeking to accelerate their performance as well-eqipped and competent leaders. Most cohorts will inclde a limited intake of established senior women managers seeking a more ronded nderstanding of leadership and their own capacity for leadership excellence. In-hose delivery format In-hose delivery versions of the are available for early career, mid-level and senior/exective management teams. The In-hose format is extremely effective for organisations seeking to nlock higher levels of performance and shared focs across teams. 4 Program Methodology Informed by the globally respected principles of applied and accelerated learning, the focs on practical knowledge, preparation and self-directed real world application generate the sccess oriented behaviors, self-belief and emotional agility reqired for leadership excellence at all levels. The six week Accelerated Learning Phase of the program interweaves intensive workshops and short projects that prepare stdents to rapidly actalise learnings and insights as real world sccess-oriented behaviors. The 18 week Action, Reflection & Mastery Phase of the program sees participants take fll accontability for their progress and their performance as a leader. The blend of Action, Reflection & Mastery Workshops and Action Planning Projects see participants nlock a decisive, sccess-oriented mindset, gronded by freqent reflection and planning. 4

6 Program Components ACCELERATED WORKSHOPS The intensive Accelerated Workshops are geared toward the singlar objective of informing and nlocking real otcomes, elevating performance in the work setting. Gided by the elite senior faclties of Women & Leadership Astralia and the Astralian School of Applied Management, participants are immersed in a mlti-faceted learning experience that fast tracks development by sstaining high-engagement and personal accontability to otcomes. Simlating the real world challenges of leadership, the tempo of workshop sessions freqently shifts maintaining an element of the npredictable throghot. At intervals throghot each session participants step back from discssion to reflect on their past experiences and new insights before proceeding with a broadened perspective of self, team and prpose. 7 ACCELERATED PERFORMANCE PROJECT Dring the initial six week Accelerated Learning Phase, participants are briefed on a weekly Accelerated Performance Project. With the prpose of nlocking higher performance each project compels participants to actalise workshop learnings in the real work setting. Projects typically reqire approximately 30 mintes of the participiant s time to complete. PERSONAL ACTION PLAN - ACTION, REFLECTION & PLANNING The capacity to self-evalate, plan and swiftly impel oneself to action is integral to effective leadership. The Personal Action Plan provides an ncomplicated weekly discipline that enables immediate performance elevation and self-evalation. Across the program this process is embedded as a core activity that conditions progress-oriented, self-directed leadership. ACTION, REFLECTION AND MASTERY WORKSHOPS Action, Reflection & Mastery Workshops bild pon the fondation knowledge of the initial six week Accelerated Learning Phase. The overarching prpose of the Action, Reflection & Mastery Workshops is to ensre that key learnings, especially those of a theoretical natre, are contextalised into the practicalities of the real world setting. The Action, Reflection & Mastery Workshops provide an important platform for participants to reconnect with their program peers and reengage with key learnings throgh sharing their niqe developmental experiences. This exposre to program learnings and developmental experiences throgh the niqe lens of other grop members assists in shaping a gronded, mindfl and crios leader. ACCELERATED MANAGEMENT ADVISORY SERVICE Throghot the, participants have complimentary access to the expertise of the Senior Faclties of Women & Leadership Astralia and the Astralian School of Applied Management via the Accelerated Management Advisory Service. 8 Program Fees The Standard Program fee for the $8,490. This fee covers all program elements. PLEASE NOTE: Individals and organisations enrolling for 2015 programs prior to March 13 are encoraged to apply for scholarship fnding as otlined below. NATIONAL ALL-INDUSTRY SCHOLARSHIP FUNDING PROGRAM Scholarship fnding is crrently available to all sectors for 2015 program intakes. Accordingly all prospective stdents enrolling for 2015 programs prior to March 13 are entitled to apply for the $4,500 sbsidy to ndertake the via the National All-Indstry Scholarship Fnding Initiative. The scholarship redces the Program fee to $3,990. The National All-Indstry Scholarship Fnding Program is a collaborative initiative of Women & Leadership Astralia and the Astralian School of Applied Management. The initiative has been established with the overarching ambition of enabling women from all indstries eqitable access to the world class. 8

9 Women & Leadership Astralia Women & Leadership Astralia (WLA) is a national initiative committed to spporting the increased representation of women in bsiness and commnity leadership roles. WLA is based on the belief that women represent an enormosly nder-tilised national resorce. Throgh spporting a greater percentage of talented women to progress into leadership positions, tremendos cltral and economic benefits will follow. The initiative comprises a range of professional development programs, advisory services, and research endeavors. Since its inagral form in 2003, over 50,000 women have participated, making WLA Astralia s peak leadership initiative for women. Each year thosands of women contine to benefit from the program, ensring the initiative is widely accepted by bsiness leaders is critical to the ongoing development of Astralian leadership. WLA was first developed - and contines to operate - nder the aspices of the Astralian School of Applied Management. 11 Applying for Scholarship Fnding Individals and organisations applying for scholarship fnding to participate in the Accelerated Leadership Performance Program are reqired to read all information contained within this Application Form docment. Applications for scholarship fnding to participate in the mst be made via this application form. If yo reqire assistance in completing the form, please contact the WLA/ASAM Admissions Office via or General Information As yo complete yor application, please keep in mind the following ASAM Admissions policies: Scholarship applicants to ASAM programs are expected to adhere to the schools principles arond eqality, integrity, honesty and the prsit of excellence in all academic activities both in the classroom and beyond. Accordingly all ASAM commnity members inclding faclty, non-academic staff and stdents accept personal accontability to phold those principles with the highest standards of ethical condct in all academic endeavors and all non-academic activity that carries the good reptation of the school. ASAM expects that yor application for scholarship fnding reflects yor intention to commit flly to the reqirements of the Accelerated Management Performance Program. ASAM expects that the endorsement of the applicant s candidacy for scholarship fnded entry to the from the applicants Direct Manager (or alternative representative of employer) confirms: The intention of the organisation to spport the applicant throghot the program. The organisations endorsement of the applicant s worthiness and commitment to participating in the. ASAM reserves the right to verify all information and recommendations contained within yor application. ASAM frther reserves the right to rescind an offer of admission or terminate a stdent s enrolment shold it discover that any misrepresentation or omission occrred in the application process or if it learns that yo have engaged in behavior prior to program entry that indicates a lack of jdgment or integrity. In some cases, ASAM may reqire an applicant to provide additional verification of the information and docments sbmitted as part of the application. Evidence of prior academic achievement is not a stiplated reqirement of the application for scholarship fnded entry to the. In some instances, the National Scholarship Committee may reqest that an Admissions Officer make contact with an applicant to seek clarification arond the commitment of the applicant and/or the applicant s organisation to participation in the.

12 Scholarship Program Fnding Gide ABOUT THE NATIONAL INDUSTRY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM The National Indstry Scholarship Program initiative is the reslt of the Astralian School of Applied Management and Women & Leadership Astralia s commitment to spporting the advancement of women into positions of leadership across the Astralian workforce. By periodically focsing on specific indstries, the initiative distribtes financial spport for the development of women managers across all sectors. The National Indstry Scholarship Program incldes a commitment to provide financial assistance to at least 15% of participants across all sectors nationally. FINANCIAL SUPPORT The standard enrolment fee for the is $8,490. Scholarship recipients are awarded a sbsidy of $4,500 which redces the program fee to $3,990. INSTALMENT PAYMENTS In keeping with the spirit of the National Indstry Scholarship Program, the balance program fee of $3,990 can be made via the Instalment Fee Payment Plan.
