16 ADOBE CERTIFICATION There are two levels of Adobe Certification; Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) for foundation skills in industry, and Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) for high-end professionals. Adobe Certified Associate An Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) credential certifies individuals have the entry-level skills to plan, design, build, and maintain effective communications using different forms of digital media. Each associate-level certification exam corresponds to a particular Adobe application used for digital communication. These are: Web Communication using Adobe Dreamweaver Rich Media Communication using Adobe Flash Visual Communication using Adobe Photoshop Adobe Certified Expert An Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) is a person who has demonstrated proficiency with one or more Adobe software products. To become an ACE, you must pass one or more product-specific proficiency exams and agree to the ACE terms and conditions. Single Product Certification Product exams available for Adobe Certified Expert (ACE): Acrobat, After Effects, GoLive, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, Dreamweaver, Flash Specialist Certification Recognises your proficiency in a specific medium: PRINT, WEB, OR VIDEO. To become certified as a Specialist, you must pass the exams on the required products listed below. Adobe Certified Experts (ACE) must pass all required (R) exams and any one elective (E) within any given certification track. Master Certification ACE Master Certification Recognises your skills with entire product suites. To become certified as an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) Master, you must pass the exam for each of the products in the suite.
