Franklin, MBA, PE, BC, PSSC President Ms. Franklin has 23 years experience as a civil and environmental engineer by managing a magnitude of environmental and construction-related projects while directing the firm to accomplish its Mission of Delivering the Best Value. 2 Gabino Cuevas, MBA, PE, LEED AP Chief Executive Officer Mr. Cuevas has over 28 years of experience with environmental assessments and remediation. As the CEO for CEI, Mr. Cuevas oversees the Environmental Division that encompasses Engineers, Scientists, Geologists, and Field Technicians. In addition, Mr. Cuevas handles client relations for major clients, including US Army Corp of Engineers, Miami-Dade County, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc., The South Florida Water District and The City of Miami. His responsibilities have included the pursuit, award, and managing of the environmental contracts noted below. Mr. Cuevas has been an Engineer-of-Record on numerous projects in Florida and Georgia as a Professional Engineer and is also certified in Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED-AP). Due to his extensive experience in the Florida market and knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulations, Mr. Cuevas has provided expert testimony on legal proceedings related to contaminated sites. Mr. Cuevas specific areas of expertise include environmental site audits, underground storage tank management, contamination assessments, initial remedial activities, remedial system designs and implementation. He also has experience in the design of soil vapor extraction, air stripping treatment, carbon adsorption, and non-conventional treatment systems. Other environmental activities include: the preparation of spill prevention control countermeasure plans, the design of industrial waste pretreatment systems, conducting canal conveyance capacity studies, and management of Everglades restoration construction projects. Sanchez, PE, PSSC, GC Executive Vice President Mr. Sanchez has 18 years of experience in design, construction and construction management with a focus in storage tank systems and civil/heavy construction. As the Executive Vice President, Mr. Sanchez is the Principal-in-Charge of the Construction operations at CEI, including a variety of Construction Professionals and Field Personnel. Mr. Sanchez is a Professional Engineer (PE), certified Pollutant Storage System contractor (PSSC), General Contractor (GC) and an Underground & Excavation Contractor (CUC) in the State of Florida. Mr. Sanchez has a proven track record for his capabilities in management of Design and Construction projects. He has considerable experience working on projects for Municipal Government agencies, the Federal Government, D.O.T., as well as other Public and Private Entities. In addition, Mr. Sanchez has an exceptional ability to provide solutions and meet high demands on difficult and sensitive Federal Contracts.
