The following specific input were of significance and reflected as is from the course evaluation forms. (NB the sign:// means number of participants who made the same comment). INFORMATION INPUT REMARKS Information of interest All information was interesting////// Use of abbreviations was confusing to me. These TB AND HIV drugs, side effects relevant for hands on Noted Concern to note the comment that the TB AND HIV is irrelevant
5 What additional information do you require people; Management of HIVE due to area of work, teaching than in clinical area. Stats by province ///, Government role on protecting all employees. HIV by HIV experts; New FDC AIDS drug; Consider Management of teenagers exposed with TB and HIV More time still needed for the workshop; Frequent workshops on HIV/TB Integration More on PMTCT updates// Update on drugs Avail latest guidelines of the DOH frequently. More updates on TB/MDR/XDR All expectations were met./// Remarks and suggestions Suggest to include NDoH experts to handle misunderstandings, unpack new changes; e.g. TB HIV treatment in children Strengthen policies on preemployment procedures Keep it up, but remember to explain more for people who are not on practical situation;/// The workshop organisors to request the hospital management to extend invitation to such workshops regularly as educators are part of them./// Course very informative and eye opening/// Workshop very fruitful and relevant to educators to nurse educators. It becomes a disturbing reality of perceptions of nurse educators and quality education. Nurse educators whondo not appreciate data are of concern to us. How do we build new body of knowledge without reflecting on statitistics? Noted and will be forwarded to the NDoH team Noted with appreciation, suggestions will be elevated to the relevant authorities.
6 Compile all information including slides in the participant s manual. Good presentation/// / Presenters were very committed, showed interest and knowledgeable. Ability to instill information especially to people who are not exposed to HIV/TB, interesting presentations Need more time for assimilation. Course was interesting and informative./// Format of presentation should be similar to that of the manual. Very good course, I learned a lot Suggest it will be excellent for clinic staff that is hands on. Time of the course to be extended Nurse educators t be embraced, clearly not updated and not exposed Facilitators knowledgeable Recommend course for all educators, health care professionals-drs, OT, Social workers; Workshop empowered me with updated knowledge, will give information to colleagues, managers at PHC and a staff working in the clinic. Course needs to be extended to facility managers and clinic staff
