2 TMT Training Curses Criminal Law Update The curse is als available publicly in the fllwing lcatins: Lcatin Dates Newcastle Spring , Autumn Birmingham Spring , Autumn Leeds Spring , Autumn Cardiff Spring , Autumn Manchester Spring , Autumn Lndn Spring , Autumn This curse is part f a rlling prgramme enabling criminal law slicitrs t keep up t date with develpments in the law. The material is revised and re-written every 6 mnths and cvers all aspects f the criminal prcess frm investigatin t final review. It includes examinatin f all develpments in legal aid and csts, criminal investigatins, criminal law, prcedure, yuth justice, evidence and sentencing. A review f all relevant case law will be included. Subjects in 2015 include: Implementatin f the Criminal Justice and Curts Act 2015 and the Serius Crime Act 2015 Cntinued implementatin f Anti-Scial Behavir Crime and Plicing Act 2014; New PACE cdes A review f plice pwers Disclsure develpments Cntinuing changes t the Criminal Prcedure Rules; and the Criminal Practice Directin Case law develpments in criminal law Sentencing guidelines; and discunt fr guilty plea Cnfiscatin develpments Graduated fee issues

3 Other curses Other curses are available- All f the curses belw are kept up-t-date and new curses will be cntinuusly develped and added t the current list. Plice statin update; keeping pace with the develpments (3 hurs). Cnfiscatin; understanding the principles (3 hurs). Criminal law update: The twice yearly criminal law update. The curse is written as a 6 hurs curse but different firms and lcal law scieties take it at different lengths frm 90 minutes, thrugh 3 and 4 hurs t a full day. Cst varies with lcatin and length but firms are welcme t sell n places if arranged in-huse and cancellatin is always available withut cst.
