Created by Action Centres UK and YFC, this unique 48-hour experience held at two venues across the Midlands combines exhilarating outdoor adventure activities with engaging, energetic workshops exploring issues relevant to young people today.

3 ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES Qualified instructors lead you on sessions with a choice of key learning outcomes including teamwork, initiative, social awareness, leadership and personal development. Climbing Indoor Caving Abseiling Archery Zip wire and high ropes courses Night walks Open boat canoeing Fencing Search and rescue Big Bounce on giant inflatables and much more THE ZONE High energy, multimedia workshops linked to the PSHE and RE curriculums that allow students to explore key issues that face young people in the 21st century. Each 75 min Zone uses games, activities, films, inspirational talks, small group discussions and individual reflections to open up the topics in a way that is engaging and relevant, helping young people to consider their own ideas and perspective. 4 CHOOSE YOUR ZONE PROGRAMME There are currently two stimulating programmes for you to choose from, each comprising 3 x 75 minute workshops and an optional Reflective Zone. Explore: Me Reflecting on the emotions, feelings and values we hold that determine the way we engage with the world around us; Ideal for Key Stage 3 students. Zone 1: Zone 2: Zone 3: Managing emotions. We experience a variety of different emotions every moment of the day. How do we learn to manage these effectively, so they don t manage us? Handling hurt. In life we inevitably experience things that hurt us. However, we can choose how we respond. Which response is best for us and those around us? The ilife? How we live our lives is determined by the values we hold. To what extent do our values serve our own interests? Is there more to life than just looking after ourselves? Reflecting on the mechanics of different relationships with friends and family, this is aimed at older Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. Zone 1: Zone 2: Zone 3: Explore: Relationships Foundations. We all have an innate sense of what qualities and values make a good relationship. To what extent do we apply these same values to our own behaviour? Hot stuff. Many people are looking for love but where is it to be found, and would we know it when we saw it? Is it possible to find a love that will last forever? Things fall apart. Not all relationships are happy ones. Sometimes we have to live with people who hurt us and let us down. How do we cope with difficult relationships when there is no way of avoiding them?
