1 Elastic Grid Best Practices Welcome to your Elastic Grid demand generation center. This document outlines the top 9 ways to get the most out of your campaigns on Elastic Grid. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to a Grid Marketing Specialist. We re here to help.
2 You can launch campaigns, complete with s, automated social media posts, and their related landing pages in under 5 minutes. 1. LAUNCH YOUR CAMPAIGN Once you ve registered your account, visit Campaign Launcher, choose a campaign and follow the prompts. Keep in mind the following tips to ensure your sends are as successful as possible: Refined databases always perform better Every Grid campaign is targeted to a specific type of customer/ prospect set. The closer you align your target list to the intended target audience, the better your results. Focus on job titles, business sizes, your regional sales footprint, and always prioritize existing customers higher than prospects, due to the strength of existing relationships. Creating a targeted list If your list is not large enough, does not focus on the targets suggested for your desired campaign, or you just want to expand your prospect list, contact the Grid Marketing Specialist Team for information on how we can assist you in augmenting your contact list with Data.com. Target contacts through modified subject lines Subject lines make the first impression of your campaign with customers. The template subject lines we provide are fully tested to ensure a maximum number of s land in the inbox, but you can modify them to speak more directly to to your customers needs. Just make sure to test them before blasting to your list by sending a few to test addresses. Best times to send Keep in mind; the best times to send your s for optimum open rates are usually Tuesdays through Thursdays between 10:00am to 11:30am and 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Consider your recipients time zones when scheduling. You might want to create contact batches, by time zone. About [Company Name] 2. UPDATE YOUR ABOUT PAGE TO LEVERAGE YOUR COMPANY S VALUE PROPOSITION Simply click on Accounts and then About, below Company Settings. Add or update information that will appear by default in any Grid campaign offering About Us information. This is most campaigns. Remember to click Save. That s it.
3 3. BUNDLE TELEMARKETING Use your preferred telemarketer and a Grid Marketing Specialist will train them on the Grid. Telemarketers can receive Lead Alerts directly and call out accordingly, at your request. Note: you are responsible for the added telemarketing costs. 4. ADD SIGNATURE BANNERS TO YOUR EVERYDAY The platform tracks anyone who clicks through from your signature banner. Their details are sent to you as a Lead Alert when they complete a brief contact form. Add the banner of your choice to your signature. Remember to link it to your co-branded site!
4 5. PLACE WEB BANNERS ON YOUR COMPANY S WEBSITE Just like signature banners, web banners can link to your co-branded site and generate leads for you. 6. ADD A PROMOTION TO YOUR CO-BRANDED SITE. SOME IDEAS ARE: REGISTER FOR A FREE ASSESSMENT (CONDUCTED BY YOU) ADDITIONAL COLLATERAL MERCHANDISE ANYTHING THAT CAN RESULT IN AN APPOINTMENT OR VISIT DON T FORGET TO DRAW EXTRA ATTENTION TO YOUR PROMOTIONS IN AT LEAST ONE OF YOUR S
5 7. LEVERAGE SOCIAL MEDIA Why? Because it offers these benefits at low cost: Increase your brand/company recognition Increase traffic to your co-branded site (and company website) Your customers are already using it It helps you connect with potential customers It can give you a competitive advantage When social media marketing is done right, it can result in more customers, traffic, and conversations.
