2 Overview of Hertsmere Leisure: o o o Hertsmere Leisure is a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity Commenced trading 1 st February 2002 running five Hertsmere Borough Council owned sites. January 2006 commenced the management of facilities on behalf of Three Rivers District Council and Milton Keynes Council. o Addition of Bletchley Leisure Centre and community facilities in Milton Keynes in o o A lead agency in Hertfordshire s Children's Centres February 2012, entered into a 10-year lease with HBC running the existing facilities, plus Threeways Community Centre, Bushey County Club and Community Centre, Park Events and 50+ Activities

3 General Updates from past 12 months Hertsmere Leisure have: Successfully integrated 50+, Play and Parks Events into organisation Re-organised staff structures across facilities to improve performance Changed swimming lessons to 50 weeks per year improving the learning pathway Delivered the HBC Service Standards and contract Invested in the facilities and programmes

5 The Venue and Hertswood Soft play extension completed in November 2012 Refurbished Beaumonts Health Club with redecoration and complete equipment upgrade Completed in September 2013 o New Audio and Visual equipment at both Venue and Hertswood gyms. o The best existing fitness equipment shared with Hertswood, which has also been decorated Hair Salon - Scheduled for completion in September 2013

12 Contract-wide Investment Maintenance, Environment and Reporting Workflow Asset Management Software, completed in January 2013 allowing improved reporting and analysis of planned and preventative maintenance. LED lighting across the portfolio, subject to performance

13 Contract-wide Investment OnCouse system at the Venue, Bushey Grove and Furzefield Swimming Lessons terms changed to from 39 weeks per year to 50 weeks per year More adult and children swimming more often Continuous development, children move up when ready Swimming teacher have interactive registers & swimming development history Parents Portal allows online monitoring of progress via the internet Different payment options introduced to include annual and monthly direct debit

14 Wyllyotts Digital Projector allowing films to be shown on General Distribution New front of House booking system allowing web bookings, completed in November 2012 LED lighting in Main Hall, scheduled for completion in November 2013

15 Furzefield January 2012 saw the opening of the refurbished fitness studio including: o Redecoration, a new entrance to main building and all new Startrac Equipment with upgraded Audio and Visual Café refurbishment scheduled completion in September 2013: o o New furniture, Service Features and Menu Template for future changes in the café provision across the contract
