1 RedCard EFT and ERA Enrollment Portal Creating a new Account (with Invitation Code) Create your account with the Invitation Code you received by going to Fill out all the fields and click Submit 1
2 Creating a new Account (without an Invitation Code) If you did not receive an Invitation Code, create your account by going to Fill out all the fields and click Submit NOTE: for additional security, RedCard will reach out by phone to all Providers enrolling without an Invitation Code in order to verify their identity. Note: NPI is not required. "If" you choose to include an NPI, please ensure you use the group NPI and that NPI number has been shared with Care1st and Advantica. If you use the individual NPI or the group NPI is used but not shared with Care1st and Advantica, unfortunately your payments will not drop to EFT until it is corrected. 2
3 Now check your ! You should receive a Welcome from [email protected]. If you don t see it, be sure to check your spam/junk folder. Click the login URL and use the User ID and Temporary Password from the Welcome . 3
4 Submitting an EFT/ERA Enrollment Finish your EFT enrollment by clicking the Continue Enrollment button on the Home page Note: NPI is not required. "If" you choose to include an NPI, please ensure you use the group NPI and that NPI number has been shared with Care1st and Advantica. If you use the individual NPI or the group NPI is used but not shared with Care1st and Advantica, unfortunately your payments will not drop to EFT until it is corrected. Fill out the required fields, then click Submit. NOTE: If you have multiple NPI s under one TIN, and you want all payments for all NPI s going to the same Financial Institution account, just leave the NPI fields blank. 4
5 If you re electing to receive ERA s (835 s), you can click the Start Enrollment button from the Home page after you ve submitted your EFT enrollment. Most of the fields will auto-populate, based on the info from your EFT enrollment. Just fill out the Electronic Remittance Advice Information section (see next page for details) and select a Requested ERA Effective Date, then click the Submit button. 5
6 If you choose Clearinghouse as your Method of Retrieval, choose which payer you are enrolling for by clicking the Payer Name dropdown. Then click the Clearinghouse Name dropdown to select a clearinghouse where you want to retrieve your ERA. Click Add Payer for each additional payer whose ERA s you want to receive. If you choose Portal as your Method of Retrieval, you will automatically be enrolled for ERA for all Payers on your EFT enrollment. NOTE: The dropdown will only contain the Payer(s) you enrolled for in your EFT enrollment. 6
7 Within a few days, your bank should post the Test Deposit we put into your account. When you find it, click the Verify button on the Home page. Enter the amount of the Test Deposit you received in the field and click Submit. 7
8 After you successfully verify your Test Deposit, we will complete our Final Validations. After Final Validations are complete, you will receive a Confirmation from us, letting you know your account is now active. 8
9 Adding Payers to an Existing Enrollment When your enrollment is active, your Home page will look like the below screenshot. To add a new Payer to your enrollment, start by clicking Manage EFT Profiles in the Admin dropdown. On the Manage EFT Profiles page, click the Edit/Review link in the top right corner of your EFT Profile 1 box. 9
10 Click the check box next to the payer(s) you want to add to your enrollment, then click the Submit button. If you want to get ERA s for the newly added Payer(s), then click the Edit/Review link in the Provider Profile panel on the Home page. 10
11 If you have Clearinghouse as your Method of Retrieval, click Add Payer for each additional payer whose ERA s you want to receive. Choose the new Payer in the Payer Name dropdown. Then click the Clearinghouse Name dropdown to select a clearinghouse where you want to retrieve your ERA. If you have Portal as your Method of Retrieval, you will automatically be enrolled for ERA for all Payers on your EFT enrollment. Click the Submit button to complete your updated enrollment. NOTE: The dropdown will only contain the Payer(s) you enrolled for in your EFT enrollment. 11
12 Retrieving ERA s on the RedCard portal Whether you choose to retrieve your ERA s on the portal or through a clearinghouse, you can always download a human-readable version or the 835 data file from your ERA History. The link is located on the top left corner of the home page. On the ERA Batch History page, the far right column has two hyperlinked icons. Clicking the green arrow icon will download the 835 data file. To view the human-readable PDF of the remit, click the green spreadsheet icon. 12
13 On the Batch History page, click the View Related Transactions link in the far right column for the payment you want to view. On the Document Transactions page, click the View Document link in the middle of the page. You will be redirected to a PDF of the remit which you can save or print as needed. 13
