If you have an emergency, dial 911. THE LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER AT SAINT JOSEPH S HOSPITAL The Learning Resource Center (LRC) is more than a library. You ll find information on many topics such as pregnancy, parenting, patient education, illnesses and positive living - to name a few. The LRC is stocked with books and videos which are available for loan. The librarians are skilled and are willing to help you find the information you are interested in. The LRC is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The LRC offers extended hours between Labor Day and Memorial Day of 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. 4 GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS These programs offer food stamps, Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC), Title 19 free health insurance for people on AFDC and Healthy Start Program that pays for medical care for pregnant women and babies without health care coverage who are not eligible for AFDC. We understand that this loss is a very traumatic event for a family and we want to do everything we can to help you through this difficult time. A family may have very little time with their baby, and in some cases, (like with early loss through miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy), may not get to see their baby. We know how important your baby is and we want to do whatever we can to make your baby s birth special and help to provide you with mementos and memories of your baby. A support group meets once a month.
