Anger. These are all reasons people are turned away from Christianity. And these are the main subjects of the new movie BETWEEN THE WALLS. It is a project that is not afraid to face some of the main objections to Christianity head on. The movie follows a young man named Peter whose childhood home is being repossessed. While cleaning out the house, he opens a door his late father forbade him to enter. Inside he discovers that his dad audio recorded everything said inside the house. Playing back the tapes, Peter must face a father that turned him away from God, and uncover yet another shocking betrayal. Glowing Nose LLC of Medina, OH produced the project under the supervision of twin brothers Nick and Chris Staron, who also helmed the movie as cinematographer and director, respectively. We wanted to do something that would challenge those who are Christians, as well as those who are not, said Chris. The movie is designed to show people how God can use bad circumstances to teach us to rely on Him. They tackled these topics in a challenging, but clean movie that is perfect for people of all ages. Scott Davis plays the father very well, said director Chris. You really can feel the pain he puts Peter through. And Patrick Midgley was the ideal man for the lead role. He s antagonistic to God while still being relatable. His on-screen relationship with Eli Jared is very believable so that when Eli goes to share the gospel, we know where these guys stand without being pushy. It should spark some great discussion. BETWEEN THE WALLS will be released through the website starting December 15, It hits store shelves later this winter, and is available for church screenings. 3 3 CREW BIOS CHRIS STARON Writer/ Director/ Producer BETWEEN THE WALLS is Chris first feature film as director. At ten years old, Chris dedicated his life to Christ after watching an evangelistic theatrical production. At age twelve he wrote the book HOW TO SURVIVE A MONEY MAKING SUMMER. He graduated in 2003 from Ithaca College with a bachelor s degree in Cinema and Photography. While attending Ithaca he interned on THE BERNIE MAC SHOW and directed the Crown Award winning short The Elephant. After graduation he moved to Los Angeles and crewed on several reality shows, television movies, and feature films including UNIDENTIFIED, THE VISITATION and THINK TANK. After leaving Los Angeles he released the animated series PINT SIZE PARABLES and produced BETWEEN THE WALLS. NICK STARON Cinematographer/ Editor/ Producer BETWEEN THE WALLS is Nick s first feature film as cinematographer. Nick made Jesus his Lord at the age of ten at an evangelistic theatrical production. He graduated in 2003 from Ithaca College with a bachelor s degree in Cinema and Photography. While attending Ithaca he lensed most of the Glowing Nose short films including THE ELEPHANT and IN THE NIGHT. He interned in the camera department of commercials for Cingular Wireless, Toys R Us, and Old Spice. After graduation he worked in Los Angeles in the camera department for reality shows, television programs, and feature films. Some of the projects he crewed on include RODNEY (ABC), UNIDENTIFIED, THE VISITATION and THINK TANK. After leaving LA he released the animated series PINT SIZE PARABLES (for which he voices the characters Captain Cutthroat, the General, and King Dork) and produced BETWEEN THE WALLS. CAST BIOS PATRICK MIDGLEY (Peter) Patrick is a two-time Irene Ryan Regional Nominee in the American College Theatre Festival, a National Finalist in Classical Comedy from the National Society of Arts and Letters, he won 3 rd place at state finals in comedic acting from the California Speech Association, was a National Finalist from the American College Theatre Festival, and winner of the Ohio River Valley's Classical Comedy Competition. He

4 4 holds an acting scholarship from the College of Wooster. His stage work includes starring roles in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, MRS. WARREN'S PROFESSION, and TARTUFFE. This summer he will be appearing with the Ohio Shakespeare Festival in Akron, Ohio. Patrick is also one of 8 undergraduate critics invited to review shows at the Kennedy Center's College Theatre Festival this April. His research will be presented at the Comparative Drama Conference at Loyola University this March. BETWEEN THE WALLS is Patrick's first film. ELI JARED (Ryan) Eli has performed for five seasons in his church s Christmas production that draws a crowd of thousand people annually. He has experience in runway modeling, voiceovers, commercials, movies, and trade shows. In addition to acting, Eli enjoys missions trips and working with electronics. DOROTHY SAVAGE (Linda) Dorothy has a B.A. in Music from the University of Mobile. She attended Juliard for voice. Her stage credits include Shelby in STEEL MAGNOLIAS, Nancy in OLIVER, and Nellie in SOUTH PACIFIC. She has appeared in theaters in Maryland, Chicago, Georgia and Alabama. Dorothy also has credits in television and theater. BETWEEN THE WALLS is Dorothy s first feature length movie. She is currently working for the USO of Metropolitan New York. SCOTT DAVIS (Peter SR) Scott Davis s has done modeling print work for American Greetings, Delta Airlines, World Almanac Education and Rolling Acres Mall. He appeared at Cleveland s Playhouse Square in The Hollow Crown and in Summer Stock at Stan Hywett Hall and Gardens in As You Like It. He has done commercials for The Ohio Lottery, Summa Health Care, and Alson s Jewelers, as well as industrial film work for the Timken Company. Scott has coached aspiring actors for competition in Los Angeles and has instructed at one of America s premier modeling schools. CONNIE GEDDIS (Barb) Connie has been acting since 2 nd grade. She is currently cast in another feature length movie called, MADNESS. She runs a computer consulting business and has served as system analyst for various companies. She coaches girls travel fast-pitch softball and gymnastics, has been married 17 years, and is mother of three children. ###
