2 COMPANY I.T.R. S.r.l. designs, develops and manufactures complex parts and systems. According to its consolidated strategy, I.T.R. has invested in the highest technologies so as to be competitive and flexible on the market, especially on small and medium series production. The production is based upon three main technologies : rotational moulding, thermoforming and polyurethane foam. I.T.R. also offers solutions that combine the three technologies for the production of hybrid components e.g. hoods for lifting or earth moving machines. 2

3 HISTORY I.T.R. was created in 1963 in Mappano di Caselle, Italy, about 5 Km from Turin. The manufacturing plant occupies a total area of square meters, of which are covered. At present, the total number of employees is 90. In 2008 a photovoltaic system was installed on the roof for an output of 350 kw/h, thus covering 30% of the yearly power requirement of the plant. In 2012, the establishment of corporate cooperations gives I.T.R. further opportunities of promoting a wider range of service and products, thus consolidating and expanding its customer panel. 3

4 DESIGN & ENGINEERING The engineering department is endowed with the most modern CAD software systems for solid 3D modelling and works in close collaboration with customers in order to identify best suited rational and high tech solutions. I.T.R. carries out special projects from feasibility all the way to product industrialization, passing through design and engineering, modelling, prototyping, and mold construction. 4

5 THERMOFORMING The thermoforming department is endowed with computer-aided process control machines for the sheet vacuum forming from numerous raw materials. The wide range of machines allows for the production of pieces up to 3000 mm and a thickness of 15 mm. 5

6 ROTOMOULDING Thanks to rotomoulding, I.T.R. diversifies its offer and serves a wide variety of industry sectors. This technology makes it possible to realize a wide range of hollow parts such as tanks, air ducts and interior trims. I.T.R. has four independent arm machines with diameter up to 3500 mm. 6

7 POLYURETHANE FOAM I.T.R. has 5 high pressure metering systems for manufacturing rigid, semirigid, integral and baryte modified polyurethane products. The latter is used for manufacturing acoustic floor mats. The new company strategy is oriented to the use of polyurethane foam to increase the market penetration of I.T.R. in this sector. The use of polyurethane foam is also being consolidated as a support technology to rotomolding for manufacturing cooling systems, and to thermoforming for manufacturing hoods. 7

8 HDPUR FLOORMATS The HD Polyurethane floormats are essential to improve the comfort in the cab: they are suitable for noise, temperature and vibration reduction. Complex shapes are produced with a high quality level using aluminium molds. The floormats are available in any color requested by the Customer. 21 STRATEGY The new shareholders aim at developing and expanding the position of I.T.R. on the international market. Besides, the company invests in new technologies especially in polyurethane products and in introducing and developing alternative raw materials. Customer satisfaction has become a further strategic and essential objective in order to provide customers with a level of support, excellence of service and quality which meets their needs and expectations. Ultimately, I.T.R. is expanding according to a strategic plan that includes the acquisition of complementary companies. Its attention to renewable energies is also being confirmed by the acquisition of shares in a new company active in this sector. 21
