What the App Does The mobile app for the 2015 Vascular Annual Meeting includes all the material available in the printed program book, plus links to view abstracts on the mobile JVS website. The app allows you to: Create a personal schedule. Bookmark sessions in the app and you ll get a reminder 15 minutes before start time with the event details. Or, you can export your sessions to your device calendar. Review abstracts and take notes in a searchable index. You can export your notes to an . Create a personal list of favorites. Bookmark abstracts, speakers and exhibitors that you want to refer to again. Network with colleagues by setting up a profile and following other attendees you know. Unlock special offers from exhibitors by answering questions. Share photos and ideas by posting to the activity feed. Win points by participating in the meeting and check your ranking on a leaderboard. Give us your feedback on just about every aspect of the program by rating items and responding to polls. 1

2 Using the Agenda Clicking the calendar icon to the right adds a session to your agenda. Here s a view of your agenda. Click the arrow in the right to start exporting your agenda to your device calendar. You need to allow the app access to export the agenda. 2

3 Using the Index Bookmark abstracts by tapping the notebook icon on the right. Take notes in the abstract index by tapping the pencil and paper icon on the right. Notes save automatically. Click the arrow icon on the right to export them to . Click all notes to send your notes to the you used to login. 3

4 Using Bookmarks Bookmark your favorites by tapping the notebook icon on the right. Speakers, abstracts and exhibitors can all be bookmarked. View your bookmarks by clicking the tab on the menu bar. You ll see everything you marked in one list. 4

5 2. Getting Started Visit vsweb.org/mobileapp to download the 2015 meeting app. The app works on Apple and Android devices. An HTML 5 website version is available for Blackberry users or anyone who prefers to use the app from a website. The system will then send a temporary password to this address. You will need this password if you log out of the app and need to log back in. If you downloaded the 2014 app, you will need to use the password you used last year to access the app. Read below for more information on resetting your password if you no longer have it. 5

6 Profile and Preferences You can change your profile settings and app preferences at any time by tapping on your name in the top header. 3. Troubleshooting Common Problems itunes Password When downloading the app on an Apple device, you will be asked for your itunes password. This is not related to our app, but Apple s system. If you do not know your Apple itunes password, please visit to reset it. Login Page App Password If you used the app in 2014, the system will ask you to login to your earlier account rather than create a new one. If you don t remember your 2014 password, you can reset it in the second page of the login screen (shown at left), by tapping Reset Password. You will receive an with a new password. Forgot App Password If you lose the password ed by the system or forget your password, you can reset the password in the second page of the login screen, by tapping Reset Password. You will receive an with a new password. Login Page 2 Wrong When you register your address with the app, the system will send login instructions and password to that address only.
